Cvs 7/12-7/19

Got up early and went to two of our CVS's and NO ONE WAS THERE, not complaining, but come on.

I had the run of both stores and got everything I want.

I guess my CVS's shoppers do not have kids? I got all the great school supplies so the stuff DD does not need I can donate.

I got all the school freebies, but NOTHING was marked. .

Same here! Nothing was marked. I had to price check everything to make sure I had the right things. Didn't want to hold up the line at check out!

Photo book limit is 5.

The free ones (after ECBs anyway) have a limit of 5? If so, I'll use them for Christmas gifts for the grandparents!! I just assumed those were a limit of one.

Just Did the school supplies today!! Used 2cards got total of 6 packs pens , 4 rulers, 4 1 subject notebooks,10 folders !! Paid a total for both orders of 99c a got back a total of 13.86 Now that is a money maker !!!! The did nothavethe scissors I will check theother store tomorrow orge a raincheck!!
Just FYI Walgreens also had somedecent school supplies that I aslo picked up!

Lana - question - thank you for posting how to get the coupons to print in the different browsers. In mine, however, I see a wg&o. I tried switching it to all the combinations and it still won't print. Any other suggestions?

Just FTR guys look everywhere for those scissors. In the "school supply/office supply" section they only had 7" scissors. I found the sale ones and the glue with the coloring books/posters/paint

Thanks for posting! I went out at 2am to the 24hr CVS to get my school supplies, wasn't taking any chances. Also maxed out the Tylenol deal and made $2 on it. I had $2 arthritis and $3/2 extra strength or 8-hour (it was expired but they took it) coupons.

Can anyone tell me if CVS price matches Target ads? They have SoBe Lifewater $10/10 and a $5 gift card when you buy 10. Would they do both the price match and the gift card? Target was wiped clean and said no rainchecks.

If it says opposite of what your browser needs, just change it to the correct code and hit enter. You should then be able to print without trouble.

Wasn't me who posted it (see above), I haven't tried it yet (but thanks!). All I do is try the other browser if it doesn't work.

Very unlikely, but you could try at Walmart, although if the ad says no rainchecks, they probably won't.

If a CVS is in a very competitive market, they will put up signage that says they will match or accept coupons/prices from other drugstore chains.

I went today (bargain brag in my blog) and I made the photobook for my daughter with pictures from our photopass cd. She loves it! Next week I am definitely making the DVD so she can watch the pictures on the TV.

I'll have to check Wal-mart and K-mart to see what they say. The irony is that on the same page as the gift card ad Target announces that they will happily match any competitors price if you bring in the ad.

Hit both of our local CVS today and as expected they were wiped out of most of the freebies. I did manage to get the 1 subject notebooks, 2 glues and 2 scissors and rainchecks for the pens.

I made out like a total bandit today anyway - so much stuff for pennies! I had CRTs for Pull-ups and $3 MQs so I got 3 packs like that. Now if we could only convince DH to potty train himself...

I paid $12.23 and got $10.93 in ECB's

I plan to go to another CVS today and look for the items I didnt get, because they didnt have them. I have another $4 coupon for the Gillete Razor, is the limit 1 razor per card, per day or per transaction?

Great shopping trip! The limit on the Gillette razor is 1 per card. It's always a good idea to get a rain check if your store doesn't have the advertised items in stock. They never expire and if it's an ECB deal, you can get the ECB's whenever the items finally get back in stock.

The limit is one per card, but hang onto the coupon. We get that razor free pretty often. Give it a couple of weeks and it will be free again. OR sign your DH up for a card of him own and keep that to do the really great deals.


I have my card & my sister's. I put out the initial $$ and keep the stuff in my stock and she comes by and gets whatever she needs. I told my cousin & my BFF that if they wanted to sign up and put out the initial $$ and help me collect coupons that I would do my deals for them as well. So far no takers. Having a 2nd card really helps me when it's something we use (like the Gain this week and the Goodnights, I got the goodnights CRT on both cards, and the freebies) I keep more ECB on my card than hers (right now hers runs $10 -$20 and mine $20- $40)
