Prelude to my trip
On a sunny morning in May we all awoke joyfully to join Cuthbert for a champagne breakfast to help him celebrate his birthday. It was a joyous occasion with wonderful surprises for him. We raised our glasses (laughing heartily when Amos fell from his high chair) and wished him a Happy Day and then gave out the presents.
It only took a few moments for the present opening, I had forgotten all about his birthday and the hired help dont really like him so they clubbed together and purchased him a 25 year old bottle of whisky. His mother sent him socks. Yasmin sent him hairspray and a gift voucher for George (whoever he is). Amos gave him some peppermint creams he had made all by himself and then Dixie gave him an envelope that was already opened and was addressed to Cuthbert. I was slightly confused and Cuthbert was his usual confused self but opened it anyway. He turned purple!!! It was our vacation confirmation from a holiday company. We were going to WalterDisneyWorld in July!!! Dixie smiled and said Happy Birthday Daddy from me and Amos. I gave Cuthbert a huge kiss and said it was so kind of him to purchase a holiday for me on his birthday and he swore (lots) that he hadnt. Dixie then announced that she had booked the holiday for us all for Cuthberts birthday. She did it on the internet and used Cuthberts credit card. I was so proud of her!!!
Once I had finished dancing on the table I read the vacation confirmation and found we were travelling Club Class, my daughter has such good taste and we would be staying for a week at a Popular Century on the Walter Disney World land. This deluxe resort wasnt built on my last trip. We didnt need to hire a car either, she had arranged for us to be collected on the Disney Magical Express, its a special carriage just like the Hogwarts express in Harold Potter. We were all so excited.
As we were only going to have a week we decided we would spend one day in each park and then re-visit our favourite park. Unfortunately Yasmin couldnt join us as she is backpacking round Benidorm. After discussion with Cuthbert he said we should be able to cope with the children ourselves seeing as how Amos is now 7 and Dixie is 9. He said if Dixie could book a ****** holiday we should be able to look after her without help for a ****** week.
