customized menus

While looking for last-minute ideas to make my DAunt's trip more magical I came across the idea of customized menus, but I need to know more.

Background: DAunt and DUncle have been a second set of parents to me my whole life. In fact, DAunt was the one who took me to college orientation instead of Mom. Unfortuately, my DUncle died very unexpectedly last year at age 63 after a sudden bout of pneumonia. DAunt needs magic really badly right now, so we invited her to "crash" our anniversary trip. It will be her very first trip not only to Disney but to all of Florida.


So, tell me about customized menus, please.
Which restaurants offer this service? Would Grand Floridian Cafe do this? I already have an ADR there. Is there any charge? How far out must I book it? How do I do so?

Yeah GFC does them..I just want to warn you that Linda who is the manager at the restaurant is not very helpful at all so I hope you don't have to deal with her. I was supposed to have them for my wedding luncheon there and when we got there I had no personalized menus..she was also very hard to get in contact with through email and phone. So good luck..I would try and see if you can deal with somebody other than her.

Coral reef does them too and a coupple others. no charge they are free.

1) Actually, any sit-down (TS) eatery can make custom menus.
2) It all depends upon how willing they are at the time you call.
3) Some are very accommodating, some are not.

NOTE: The menus are on computer and it takes very little to add the name of the guest(s) onto the menu and print it. Adding photos is another option.
