They are free maps of the parks that highlight your favorites. They are really beautiful! One thing I didn't realize when ordering is that all the attractions will show up on the map, the ones you choose as your favorites will be highlighted in gold. Thinking that they would just show they ones I marked as my favorites, I marked everything lol. Now I am having DF order a set with the real favorites highlighted!

They come in this heavy paper envelope that looks like a leather case. When you open them there is one with a letter on one side and a map of the whole Disney area on the other. Then there are two other papers with a map of one of the parks on each side (that is the only down side, especially if you were to want to frame them). The paper looks old - like a treasure map and there are these little rhyming sayings. Like the previous poster said your favorites are marked and listed in gold and the rest is in blue. They are really pretty neat and FREE! Go for it. Mine took a while to get here -so be prepared for that.

Would you recommend ordering these to use on our trip or after we get back as a souvenir???

You have to live in the US to have them delivered. We Canadians can only print them off from home, nothing fancy.

I think you are allowed to order a set every 3 months? It says somewhere on the website. This way, you can order some before and after maybe!

I believe it is every six months to reorder.

PennyPooh - I think they make a better souvenir then actual park map. They don't contain all those IMPORTANT bathroom locations -- even if you go often (to WDW -- not the bathroom!), you can forget their locations!

They are very pretty!

SnwflkCts, I agree that they make better souviners than they do actual maps b/c of the whole bathroom thing!

Go ahead and order them anyway, though. They are beautiful, and they really helped my BF get interested in our early Dec trip when they came!

I did the same thing Oh well...they are very pretty though.
