Finally figured out how to upload pictures!! Got back a week ago yesterday. Our bands worked great and we were constantly stopped and asked how we did it. Even the cast members were in awe!! Used Essie nailpolish, Sally Hansen pen for around the Mickey head on the pink one and Essie top coat. No problems!

Okay thanks, maybe I will do it just to be safe. Here's what we did last night (just used nail polish on ours):
I don't have a very steady hand, and will probably need to get a fine point sharpie to go around the black mickey head on my Minnie themed one.![]()
I'm going to bring my undecorated pink one from last Oct for backup just in case mine doesn't hold up!

this is a minecraft theme i just did. it's creeper. my 7 year old likes it, anyhow.![]()
We have 3 different hotel stays on our upcoming trip, so we got 3 sets of Magic Bands to decorate!
I started out pretty conservative:

By the time I was done, I could only be glad that my fiancé is secure in his masculinity - he likes pink, but really?!?

I'm so excited to rock these - the glitter pops so much more than in the pictures! I think the blue pearl one is my favorite.

Mine pales in comparison - it is very simple (which is what I wanted anyway). I am blown away at all the talent displayed in this thread.
Here is mine - not sure if the rest of the family is going to want theirs done or not.

Thanks for all the compliments - I did my youngest's band this evening. Her's represents her travel fast pitch softball team - it is in their colors. She loves how it turned out.

Nothing elaborate here, we just wanted them sparkly. I thought it was harder than people here make it look. The nail polish is hard to get on without streaks and clumps, so I suggest using the newest polish you have! Two coats helped.

The blue is mine and my favorite, I tried to match it with my Cinderella costume for the Princess Half Marathon.

Not as spectacular as some of the others, but with with little artistic ability (completely unable to draw a straight line), my family is satisfied. The pink ones are covered in Sally Hansen iridescent and look awesome. For bebeZach, I tried to make an Olaf but my white nail polish was gloppy. Luckily at two, he's got low standards.

Just got back and our bands with nail polish worked great and we go so many compliments! The glow in the dark was great, especially on Space Mountain and Tower of Terror.
I'm returning in May, so I'm planning on what to do for my new band. My husband let me repaint his as a practice and to try out using acrylic paints instead of nail polish. I have tons of acrylic paint, but a very limited supply of nail polish, so I'm happy with how this turned out. As long as it's on the hard molded part of the band, it seems to work. I'm going to wear it around the house for a few days to make sure there are no problems. I used clear nail polish over it.
I'm all ready for Star Wars Weekends!![]()
Finally finished decorating mine! My frozen inspired magic band
