In the last two days I have had wonderful encounters with retail employees. It was refreshing to see how much they wanted to help.
K-Mart, looking for a specific pre-lit garland. I needed 6, their computer said they had 6, but none on the floor. Two very helpful people looked and even took my name & number to call when dept. mgr. could look later. -They never found any, but called me to let me know.

Furniture Store: Looking for furniture to match/coordinate with existing bed. Not an easy task, the bed is no longer "in style" in color or style. This gentleman (I realize he's on comission) went the extra mile to help me put together three beautiful different combinations to show to DH. We've been furniture shopping for WEEKS, and have run the gamut for service/helpfulness.

Lowe's: Had the pre-lit garland I wanted, but I couldn't find it on the shelf. Wonderful gentleman not only helped me look, but loaded my cart when we finally found it.

It's great that people still care about customer service!! :cool1::yay:

That's awesome! It sounds like you had some really good experiences. It's nice when you feel like people really care and go out of their way to help you. I love it when I have experiences like that, and I'll make doubly sure I frequent those stores.
