Custom parasols in Epcot?

Hey all,

I know in the past you've been able to get custom parasols made in Epcot, but I'm having trouble finding recent information on it.

Is it still available? Is it done by Disney or an outside vendor? (i.e. can I pay by MagicBand?) Where can I find it?

I did see them available in Epcot, but DDs decided on getting them in MK. At the MK location it is an outside vendor I believe , but I'm pretty sure I remember paying with MB. However, they don't participate in package pick-up so we had to come back a few hours later to get the umbrellas rather than having them sent to our resort. The large umbrella was about $16.95 and came with a name and flowers. The drawings of the princesses, castle, etc were $5 each. Hope this helps:-)

There is an outdoor vendor in MK right next to a Sleepy Hollow. I don't recall seeing them in Epcot but that doesn't mean they aren't there, I'm not as familiar with Epcot as I am MK.

I thought that's where I had posted it... I'm sorry! Was it in one of the dining forums? I was lurking in them all day at work (occasionally stopping to work :))

Welcome Board. :)

Well worst case, we can get it done in MK, thank you!

Just confirmed this with my sister. She saw the kiosk by France Pavilion this August.

Excellent, so that will be our first stop (after Spaceship Earth of course!) on our first day so she can have it for the trip.

I don't even know how I did that... thanks for fixing it!

It's in France near the walkway that leads to the UK (so, not hidden in the pavilion and should be easy to find). DD got one last year. She just got the base one without any extras. I think it was about $20 and included her name and one design. She picked her colors and I paid, then we came back and picked it up in about 20 minutes after looking around France. (The painter actually had told us to come back later, but we were walking by so I checked on it, and it was already done.) I couldn't charge it to the room (so you cannot pay with a MB) because it is an outside vendor. I just paid with my credit card. The painter said to wait one day before exposing it to rain, but it was dry enough to use as a parasol that day, and now is good to use as an umbrella, too.

Not sure what time your first day is starting, but remember, WS doesn't open until 11:00, so you'll have to wait until at least then to go get it.

Our first day is arrival day, afternoon most likely since we have to do resort check in.
