Custom made dresses from internet

Has anyone bought a custom made dress through ebay or another internet site?

I'm curious and thinking of getting an evening dress made but would like to know if anyone has done this and how the product turned out ie. was the material of good quality, did the colour match closely to what you chose, stitching good, etc.

My Daughter got her Wedding Dress of Ebay all she did was send her measurements and they made her the Dress took about 4 weeks and was very well made.
