Current Virtual Queues

Which rides currently have virtual queue? We will have EP, but I believe that Velocicoaster and Hagrid's do not have EP right now. Is that correct?

Do these rides have VQ? If so, can we have VQ for both rides simultaneously? Can we do standby during early entry?

None of the rides currently have VQ and haven’t for quite awhile now. Along with Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s, Mummy currently does not accept EP awhile it’s in technical rehearsal. Yes, you can hop in line for Velocicoaster and Hagrid’s during EE. Although keep in mind that Hagrid’s is sometimes delayed especially in the mornings and to have a minimal wait during EE for Hagrid’s you must line up at the park’s turnstiles almost an hour prior to the start of EE. These reasons are why we usually ride Hagrid’s during early afternoon hours.

Technical rehearsal... was the Mummy's refurb that significant? How long will the technical rehearsal last?

Thank you for the other info. We're early birds, so we can be at the front of the rope drop crowd. We've done Hagrid's a lot, but never Velocicoaster, so I think that will be our priority.

If you are going in December meeting the Grinch is a VQ, very hard to get I hear.

I don’t think there’s word yet on how long it will last. The line moves though at a steady pace. The posted wait times seem overinflated as well… probably due to technical rehearsal. Daughter and I rode it TWICE in a row recently within 25 minutes and the posted wait time was 40 minutes. Granted the second time was in the SR line but even so was way less than 40 min.

As far as their refurb, I believe the ride control system was worked on, paint and lighting effects. Apparently brakes smoother but it’s still very abrupt with stops… like ‘slamming my head abrupt’ sometimes from our numerous recent experiences. We know when to brace ourselves though but maybe they’ll work out the kinks.

Velocicoaster should be a very short wait time at rope drop. This is my fave to do during EE.

there are no rides using VQ currently and I doubt you will see any. It sucks to have the long lines but it disperses people thru the park. If everyone was in a VQ then the parks would seem twice as packed.
