Current situation for downloading MDE for international guests?

Hi all! I wondered if anyone outside of USA/Canada can address this question. Are you able to download the 'My Disney Experience' app okay? I know there used to be a problem for international guests, but I don't know if that issue has been addressed. Thanks for any insights!

It has not been discussed so I would not anticipate it has been a problem. Have you tried?

No problem here in Germany. And never heard of problems. There was the problem of not being able to book LLMP in advance, but this has been resolved since.

I heard there were issues with ordering Magic Bands outside of the US, but nothing else.

Magic Bands can be ordered, just not delivered outside the US. International guests have their MBs delivered to their resort.

Unfortunately, magic bands (as part of a hotel stay) can't be shipped to the resort for international guests anymore. At least, I know that's true for Canada. I've never tried to just purchase magic bands from the disney store (not from a hotel stay), and ship to my resort. Have any international guests tried that recently?

I thought the same. Ordering from the Disney Store close to arrival and having them shipped to the resort might work. But in that case, unless you're getting a really good deal, it's probably cheaper to buy them once you get to Disney (shipping charge, unless you buy during a free shipping promo). And better selection at Disney. You don't get a pre-arrival discount at the Disney Store.
