Totally open this past weekend. When I saw it all uncovered on Friday, and walk-through open, I got all teary-eyed. Not just for the fact I was seeing it for the first time, but, my DD5 was too, and the first time we saw it was in the evening when it was all lit up.

It was a highlight of our trip.

We were there last week. Castle closed Monday and Tuesday. Scaffolding, tarps. the whole thing.
We went to Knotts on Wednesday...came back Thursday am, and there was the Castle!
Sneaky, sneaky...but we were pretty excited. Walk-through was open too.
Not sure what they did, we didn't see any difference.
