I guess I'm a bit of an enigma by the author's standards. While we do visit WDW every few years as part our our annual pilgrimage to Orlando, and just love it when we do, I'm really sort of a combo repeat visitor/Traveler/Opera Singer.
Because the Traveler in me likes to sample all the Orlando area resorts, we rotate where we stay from year to year so we always have something fresh to enjoy, while still getting to enjoy the old faithful attractions. Likewise, we spend our remaining vacation time during the rest of the year experiencing all the wonderful things the world has to offer outside of Orlando. I must admit I am a head shaker when I encounter folks who exclusively vacation at WDW and WDW alone; I just feel its unfortunate that they miss out on so many other experiences in the world that are equally if not more impressive and magical than WDW.
I also have "Opera Singer" tendencies, but believe that WDW does have offerings of this calibur and many rival what you'd find in other major cities around the world. No headshaking on this one; I think WDW really holds it's own with shows like La Nouba, dining experiences like the sunset safari/chef's table at Jiko, and special events like the Food & Wine fest!
