Current Members - How Long Until You Got Points in Account from Resale Contract?

We just closed on our 2nd contract this Monday! It took a LONG time. The title company didn't send the closing documents to the sellers, but said they did send them to them. It didn't get figured out that the sellers didn't have the closing documents until a couple weeks later.

There isn't a whole lot of updates from deed recorded to points in account. So, I wanted to ask current DVC members, when did you get the points in your account after the deed was recorded? I heard it was quicker if you were already a member.

We closed 7/13, DVC established our account on 7/21 and our points were loaded and useable sometime between 7/21 and 7/26.

It is quicker if your an existing member, I think it took about a week after recording the deed on our 2nd contract for the points to show up in our account.

For our first contract, it was exactly 15 days from closing to points-in-our-account-making-a-reserrvation. BUT - I stalked the Orange County site for our deed and then called Member Admin every day, because we needed to make a reservation and we were around 9mo out already and the room we wanted already had a hole in the reservation. (All worked out fine in the end.)
