Current Incentives Available

Can anyone summarize the current purchase incentives available to new members?

Do former members (unfortunately we had no choice but to sell our 3 contracts a year ago ) get any of the same priviedges as current members if we plan to buy back in? I do plan on contacting my old guide tomorrow, but was looking for info before then - Happy Easter by the way!

We took the SSR tour about two weeks ago and as of then, the current incentive for new members at SSR only if you purchased within 72 hours of the offer was:

$101.00 per point with a $1200.00 discount AND all '05 points OR an additional $750.00 discount if you didn't want the '05 points. They were offering a December UY.

I think that takes the price per point down to either $93.00 per point OR $88.00 per point depending on which option you choose.

Unfortunately, I can't help with your other questions.

Also, does anyone know if you can make short notice reservations with your new points (pending availability of course) when you agree to proceed and "sign-up" over the phone (sign papers when you arrive??). We're going in less than 3 weeks and was curious if this was a possibility.

That is definately something you would need to ask your guide about as it would depend on availability. If you bought now, you would be setup and ready to make ressies by early next week though.

Are they offering APs for new purchases?

Just purchased a week ago at SSR. The incentive is $101 per point, and an $8 credit with 05 points, or a $13 credit if you don't want 05 points. you can choose whatever UY you want. Also, as long as you vacation at the reorts, you can travel right away.

Current members add-on incentive is still $98 per point...I got a mailer this week.

With a Dec Use Year start, are '05 points the one's that were issued in '05 and can be used into '06 or the ones issued in '04 and good through '05?

The '05 points are the ones that were issued Dec. 1, 2005 and valid until November 30, 2006, unless banked, in which case you couldn't use them until Dec. 1, 2006 and would expire Nov. 30, 2007.
