Current FP Rules

We have not been to the World for a couple of years - so I am wondering if anyone can explain the current FP system?

How much time must elapse before you are allowed to get another FP - I know if your window of time comes you are eligible, but isn't there also a time limit?

The longest wait between FPs is 2 hours.

Lets say you get a fast pass at 9AM and your return time is at 10AM. You cannot obtain another Fast Pass until 10AM.

Or let's say you get a fastpass at 9am and your return time is 1pm-2pm. You can get another fastpass after 2 hours, at 11am. You don't have to wait until your window comes up if it's more than 2 hours away.

The bottom of the fastpass will tell you exactly when you're able to get another one, so if there is any doubt just look at it. It really is easier than it sounds!

One thing that I've found helpful especially if you're in a larger group, is let's say you have 6 people in your group but 3 are kids and are too little to ride something or just don't want to. You can either just get 3 FPs for the ride, and use the other 3 people's tickets to get FPs for a different ride, or you can get all 6 FPs and then the 3 who want to ride, can ride twice without having to wait for another window to open up! In other words, the person whose ticket you use to get a FP does not have to be the same person who uses the FP, they are transferable. So don't lose them!!
