I'm a seasonal employee at my local Disney store. I have been open on willing to stay part-time after the season is over. Working for Disney has actually been pretty good!
No matter what happens, I do want to stay with Disney. I'm already out of college (graduated five years ago), so, internships are out of the question (even the professional ones seem to require you to be in college).
My goal is to grow within Disney and get a professional job. I already have a good 7+ years worth of professional experience in my chosen field.
Even if I'm not asked to stay, I'm hoping my stint at my local Disney Store would still be a nice touch when I apply for professional jobs within Disney.
Has anyone been in a similar predicament as myself? Starting off as a Disney Store employee and moving up? Moving up in Disney I heard is polarizing; either it's nearly impossible or they hire from within.
