Asking for my niece, who decided to wing a trip to WDW with her husband 10 days from now (which is a whole other story):

What's the current procedure for RD @ DHS? Is it the thing where they let you through the turnstiles early and you proceed to attractions, or do they collect everyone at the Frozen (or other) show first?

Josh had an update last week, and said that they're not holding people at opening for the Frozen show -- you can go directly to the rides. The day he went, they were let through the turnstiles at 8:45, which seems to be the typical rope drop time of late. I don't know if they've started opening even earlier because of frozen Summer Fun, though.

Same thing for an EMH morning?

I can confirm...we were there a week ago today actually. They did start letting us in around 8:45...I assumed we would be held at the Frozen show too but that was not the case. We were allowed to go to the rides, however the rides didn't open until 9:00...at least Rockin' Rollercoaster didn't open until 9:00.

I know in the past that the parks tended to not open early on EMH mornings -- maybe a few minutes at most -- but I can't say for sure that that's the current policy. Hopefully, someone can come along and give a definitive answer.

The parks tend to not open "early" on EMH mornings.

But, be in line by at least 15 min. before announced AM EMH opening time.

DHS is still open?

Well of course it is, but it's name may or may not contain the word "Hollywood", and it may or may not be based on movie and entertainment themes, and the attractions may or may not be open in the future, and new attractions may or may not be coming in their places.

Clear enough?

I think they meant Is it still open, sarcasticly, because of all the closures & lack of things to do and see.:confused3
