For the most part it's always a bag, of some sort. I believe the current bag is the burlap one. But some ships seem to still be handing out the canvas bag (color based on CC level). The dry erase board was stopped around the beginning of 2015.

It looks really nice, but some have reported issues with odor (due to the burlap) with this bag.

yes- folks on the Dream getting the burlap bag as of 2 weeks ago. Nice size tote bag. Sorry, don't have measurements but it held some necessities for Castaway day such as a change of clothes, sunscreen etc. Would not carry a bunch or towels or anything like that.

We did not get a dry erase board in ours last month, but with the next app that allows on board texting we didn't need it this time. Just just sent texts to each other.
