Current Bounceback?

Thanks for the info! :) We don't check in until nov 11th! We'd really love to try POFQ with free dining! Hopefully this will be our chance! I've never booked a bounce backs before! What is the most efficient, time wise, way to do it? Can I book it at the desk right when we check in?

What is the policy/flexibility in changing dates when you bounce back? For example:

1. Stay at WDW on June 2014. BB is available fora return December 2014. We book. Then....

2. Realize in September 2014 we can't go in December. But we CAN go in january of 2015. By this time, BB for 2015 is available.

Can we change our dates?

The villas are not able to be booked right now since it's too far out so you will have to book another non-villa room and hope you can switch to a villa later in the year when they become available. We tried to book a two bedroom villa but we are not sure how two regular rooms will convert to one two bedroom villa later!

Just wanted to thank everyone in this thread that mentioned the FD Aug 2014 bounceback. I was easily able to get it this morning (called 8844). Minimums for the offer are 3 night stay with 2 day park ticket. Dates are Aug 20 to Sep 29. There was no mention anywhere that I could see of this offer. The Be Our Guest booklet in our room had the 2013 room discount offer, but that was it. The ONLY way that I knew about 2014 FD was from DISboards.

Scored POFQ for next August and they even let me just book standard view (past FD there typically had minimum garden view). Now to convince DW that we should go to Disney yet again . . . . ;)

Can we change our dates?

1. If you book a bounce back you can change your dates later as long as there is availability for your room type. You have to use the same bounceback that you originally booked under.

2. You can't get a reservation for a bounceback offer unless you were a guest at the resort at the time the bounceback was available. So if you book a bounceback in June, you can't switch to the BB that becomes available to guests staying in September.

Besides, the BB offer for January of 2015 probably won't be released until December of 2014, if Disney follows the same pattern.

So has anyone had any trouble getting the dates they want or resorts they want? I would guess the demand so far is rather light especially if there aren't flyers in a lot of rooms. If someone wasn't on a board like this, they wouldn't even know.

That is a good point. I plan to book a Bounceback when I am at csr in October but I am not sure which resort yet. Having this info could help me make a decision easier.

Is is a 5 night minimum or a 3 night minimum for the aug 2014 fd bounceback?

Please forgive a WDW newbie.

The only BB I've ever seen before was on a cruise, and all we had to do was book before we disembarked and put down the deposit, and we would be getting a discount and $200 on-board credit. We didn't have the deposit money to spare anyway, and I was 3 months pregnant, so that was a no-go.

So how do the WDW BB offers work? We're leaving in 18 days, so I guess we would qualify for the FD aug/sep 2014 deal, but I'd rather go in October 2014 when we have a school break. If I book a Sep 2014 trip and then later switch it to Oct, would we still get FD or would that be lost? When we booked this trip, we had to put down a $200 deposit. Is the deposit the same when booking a BB? I assume that you have to book before you check out.

If Sept is probably going to be FD again next year anyway, what exactly is the benefit to BB? Are there other perks that make booking one better than waiting for the public discounts?

You can only book the dated that are offered. If you switch u lose the FD unless a public offer for those dates is out at the time. $200 per room deposit.

I'm here now at POR and was able to book a bounceback for POFQ. The CM said he wasn't sure I would be able to since POFQ doesn't always have the discounts, but I had no problem. It also seemed all room categories were available since he asked me what I wanted. I booked garden.

Are the current 2014 BB deals just for Free Dining?

We booked the room discount BB offer back in June and saved a ton off our upcoming October stay. I'd be stoked to do the same for our January trip.

The only offer for 2014 is the FD bounceback. There is a RO discount but only goes until the end of the year. We got our BB offer for FD and booked CBR. Also booked a Disney cruise bounce back yeah for 15 days of vacation next year. We are still here til Monday for a total of 17 days but next year we have to take the girls out of school for 4 days to go on the cruise.

How do you book a Disney cruse BB? I am going to Disney or a week on 9/8 but would love to try a cruse next time.

Could anyone post a picture of the new FD BB brochure or tell me the code please. We are at CR and when I called the x8844 # I was told there is no offer for 2014 :-

Code is H10 and look in the small blue folder that is usually on the TV stand or end table it should be hiding in there! Although ours wasnt we called and got Free Dining for 2014:)

Has anyone actually seen the 2014 FD bounce back offer in writing anywhere????
