Current Activities status at AKL

Is Disney running activities for kids and Adults at AKL Kidani? I am talking about events like the night time safari, movies under the stars, kid crafts, etc.

I am considering booking a stay at AKL in May of next year and am wondering if activities will resume by then if they haven't already, and if the Cultural Representative program will be going on by then as well.

Cultural Representatives are going to rely on relaxation of rules around bringing them in. That's pretty complicated right now.

Just got back from AKL a few days ago. Here is the Kidani Recreational Schedule for the week of July 18th:
3:00 - Bug Catching (daily)
3:30-4:30 - Trivia or Bingo (daily)
Movie every other night at 8:30
Non movie nights - 6:00 - 7:00 Campfire
Thursday was African Jewelry Bracelet and Wednesday was Tie Dye

And of course, regarding "movies under the stars", on the alternate nights, there are movies at Jambo House. No adult-type activities at present-no tour of Sanaa, no lobby tour, adult jewelry making, painting, etc.
I didn't receive an activity schedule at check-in 2 weeks ago, nor was there one in the room, so I had to ask the lobby concierge.

And ask about the QR code in the community hall that will open the list of animals you see on the safari!

I'm planning my next trip Feb 2022 at Jambo. We did the Disney Death March this year and I'm hoping for less intensity next trip. If we arrive on a Saturday afternoon, what sorts of activities typically happen Saturday night?

Is Bug Catching really about catching bugs, or is it a clever name for something else?
