Did you think the pools seemed crowded on your summer visit?

I don't recall being annoyed, but my annoyance threshold may be harder to hit.

I'm so torn about wilderness lodge. Did you think the pools seemed crowded on your summer visit? A lot of reports I've read say the main pool is too small for such a big resort.

Yes, the main pool gets very crowded during the summer. Mostly it doesn't have enough chairs if laying out is your goal. The quiet pool at VWL is much less crowded and easier to find chairs at any given time of the day.

Which pool is close the boat dock? We walked past it in January and it looked great! I wanted to jump in!

If you're talking about the boat to/from MK, then that dock is nearest the main, WL pool. The villa pool is nearer to the dock from which you rent boats/bicycles.

I love the villa pool with it's little springs of bubbles. If the only DVC resort that I could stay at would be VWL, it wouldn't be a hardship for me!

Bobbi my brain could burst! Adding on the ssr points has opened up too many options! It was simpler when i had just my akv points!

What I do with the June reservations effects our points for our march 2013 trip. I think if I can get a treehouse when I call on sunday I'll leave it at that. If we arrive Sunday before Easter 2013 I have no more points for next June. If we arrive 2 thursdays before Easter I have points to use next June. Ugh! I'm trying to avoid the kids missing anymore school for wdw. But knowing that by moving our Easter trip up and having them miss 2 days means I can try for blt, vwl, bcv, etc for next summer is tooooo tempting!
