Curious pin sighting...any info?

A friend of mine saw this pin as well as another that as far as we are aware they are not released. They are owned by "normal" vmk players. This one in vmk Insider tour, really wondering if anyone has infoon how this is "supposed" to be obtained now or in the future and why players get this in advance and the other pin was Green off road magic - also not released.

The player who has this has the only one. The story that I heard goes something like this...he got the code for the VIP Badge but instead of getting the badge, he got that pin. It was a bug. Later he was given the badge but the let him keep the pin. And it's the only one of its kind.

And yes, it's tradeable. I saw him today and checked and it shows that it is tradeable.

Wow I took that tour long ago (no longer there) at WDW bit I did not get that LOL just the VIP pin....

Wow, I put in a code that gives me the wrong item and I get a stick, some people have all the luck. My stick is also tradeable so I guess I did ok. Incidently did you know you can't say envy in VMK, is that not odd. Can't say stick either so much for that signature.

There are several individual players in VMK that can be identified simply by an item that they have but nobody else has.

Baby, for example, is one of the few with a parrot pirate hat. We call Baby, "VMK's First Pirate"

Personally I just think some players happen to be tight with the staff. Although they say you can't be friends with staff, I have seen plenty of situations where although you may not be on a friends list, there is an existing relationship (friendly one that is). Personally I don't have a problem with it, unless the individuals seem to flaunt it and throw it in the face of others. Which also see happen from time to time. Either way I want all of those cool toys too, so Staff if you read this, "Please share the wealth".

That particular pin was given to several people in the very early days of the insider tour. VMK_Mocha has it since she was taking that particular tour and a handful of regular players also received it. It was also given as a prize for winning the VMK song contest way back at the opening of VMK (post-BETA).

I have a couple friends that have it as well, I don't believe it's one of a kind. As for green off road magic, perhaps they have connections with staff/testers and they are just wearing it to see how others would react (like it or not) or just testing it. Just my theory though.
