Curious About Trading Reservations

I am interesting in staying in a 1BR at VWL in October 2007. My home resort is OKW. I was thinking about trading a reservation at OKW with someone who has VWL as his/her home resort. I'd make a reservation for them at OKW at the 11 month window and they would make a reservation for me at the 11 month window at VWL.

I'm just nervous about doing this kind of transaction with a complete stranger.

Would love to hear feedback from anyone who has done this before and what terms were agreed to between both parties.

I've never done it, but I think the availablitly of reasonably priced GV at OKW could make the deal attractive for a WVL owner. Like renting, it would need lots of trust between parties, but we all seem like good sorts!

I agree with you Bobbi that we all seem like good sorts. I think it would just make me feel better to hear testimonials from others who have actually done it and to hear what gave them the comfort level to go ahead with this type of transaction with a complete stranger.
