Curious about something...

I know that lots of times, people use outside vendors--because of cheaper prices, etc. Is there anyone who did everything Disney though--Disney flowers, photography, videography, etc--and how did it turn out? Does it make it easier than using an outside vendor?

Kammie used all Disney--and they were all awesome! The flowers were perfect and gorgeous, the reception set up was amazing, her pictures are just what she wanted, and we haven't seen the videography yet--but he was a real sweet guy and was catching everything without being in everyone's way.
It all seemed really easy to keep everything just with Disney--especially since she was also trying to student teach, graduate, get a teaching position and plan her wedding at the same time
If/when I get married in Disney I would do it the same way.

I did everthing through Disney as well, i thought it was the easiest process. everyone asked how come I wasn't so stressed out doing my wedding in Florida. I'm not sure how their prices compared to everyone elses, because I never checked.

yeah i am doing everything through disney. it never occured to me to check anywhere else. i thinks it is easier doing it all through them. i have only 4 weeks to go.

I am using Randy Chapman for Photo and Kennedy Video Productions for video. While the price we are paying is the in the same ballpark (a little less) as Disney we are getting SO MUCH MORE. like unlimited coverage from both, albums for us and parents, many dvd copies, all of our photos on a cd (which you have to pay another $1000 for through Disney ) Plus I really hate the fact that through Disney you do not know who you are working with until the day of your wedding. For me feeling comfortable with a vendor is very imporatant esp. people who will be following me around all day and so far I really like the 2 vendors I have chosen and I LOVE their work which I have seen. It ihas been no hassle at all to contact these vendors and they have both done so much work at Disney they are familiar with the process.I am using Disney for everything else though.

Gradar1, I used Disney for everything and it worked out very, very well. I couldn't have been more pleased. It was wonderful having one point of contact. (Note: I had a custom vow renewal: Wedding Pavilion ceremony and Disney-MGM Studios Theme Park dinner party.)

I should mention that Disney does not handle everything. They farmed out a few things to a third-party vendor. This vendor put together my menu cards, my place cards, my table cards, as well as a few gift items (bags, cameras, Ruby Slippers, etc.).

Just have to throw in there that you can meet with all of your vendors if you ask (ie. photographer, DJ, Baker). Disney may say they dont normally do it, but they will if you want

When we were planning I didn't know about this board or that you could even use an outside vendor. I was thrilled that Disney handled everything so I didn't have to. We loved everything Disney did! My bouquet was exquisite, as were all of the flowers, the photographer was wonderful and took every shot we asked for, and everything else (cake, chocolate favors, etc.) was honestly just perfect. I'm very happy we went with Disney on all of that
