Just curious. Was wondering if the moderators are paid, or compensated in some way? Is it a full time job? Part time? Hobby? Hope I'm not crossing the line, but ya'll do such a great job and you're always around, so....what's the scoop?

No, we're not paid or compensated. We just like the DIS and Disney. We check on the boards when we have time. Some of us spend more time here than others.

Annette, the real scoop is that they sometimes have very nice parties that are hosted by the webmasters that are only for moderators. The mods are people selected by the webmasters who agree to do their part to keep the boards appropriate and friendly, and try to get people's Disney travel questions answered. All are volunteers who found this place because they love Disney, and many are also travel agents who specialize in Disney -- this is how they keep up with the latest changes and information about Disney travel for their clients as well as for their own families. Not all moderators are travel agents - many just like to hang out here and volunteer to keep it going.
