Curaçao taxi question

Hello!

Has anyone had experience taking a taxi in Curacao? We are interested in going to the sea aquarium but it doesn't look like the cruise excursion gives enough time to really enjoy it.

We spent a week at Curaçao last year and stayed at an all inclusive that was a short walk to the sea aquarium. We took taxis to and from the resort and they had a flat fee from the airport. I think it was $40. It should be less from the cruise port. When we left the aquarium, we took a cab back. There were several there waiting to pick up people.

But with all of that being said, unless you are doing a dolphin experience or something you really don't need much time there. It isn't that big. I think we were there about two hours and that included seeing the dolphin show and the sea lion show. Not sure how long the excursion is there.

We absolutely loved curaçao. The water for snorkeling was perfect. We did an island tour one day and really enjoyed it. The aquarium was ok, but I wouldn't go back if we go back to curaçao.
