I know this was asked about a month ago, but nobody responded, so I'm going to try. Does anybody know what brand the wonderful smelling cucumber lotion is? I remember it from our Sept. 2000 cruise, and I'm hoping they still put it in the rooms. I'd love to buy some as a souvenir/gifts.

Anybody know?:D

I still have some packets of it. They just say Disney Cruise Line, with no actual manufacturer or other brand name listed . . at least not on the packets themselves.

I don't know the brand of the lotion that was on the ship, but I did find cucumber lotin at Bath and Body Works. It's called Cucumber Melon.

Thanks -- I'll have to check out Bath & Body Works. I love that place, but we're saving our pennies for our cruise on 9/7, so I just haven't gone in there recently -- can't get out without spending at least $20!!

I also found a really rich cucumber heel cream sold by Beauty Brands (it's a higher quality beauty supply chain) that smells very similar, but DCL's was thinner, which I liked for my legs. I'm going to ask someone on the ship to see if I can purchase some, then I'll let you guys know in my trip report.

Thanks again for the responses!:D

A tip on saving money at Bath & Body Works (I am addicted to that place). Stop in and ask to be put on their mailing list. They will then start sending you great coupons, like $5 off a $20 purchase. Just spend a load there today...besides goodies for me, I like to pick up little crew member gifts there. I love their stuff, although hubby turns up his nose at it because he likes to buy stuff at the Vista Spa...his tastes are even more expensive than mine!

Not surprising...
People auction the paper luggage tags, Navigators, etc. The sad thing is that some people actually buy the Navs...they must not know about these wonderful boards where they could find out everything they want to know for free (and if anyone is ever desperate for the lotion, email me because I never use it but I'm sure I can get plenty on our three-peat next week...I won't even charge for it!).

Great tips! And thanks, Inkognito, for the offer to get some. Yes, it is a shame that people are paying for Navigators when you can print one right off the internet for free. We're going in a couple of weeks on 9/7, so I'll be sure to bring some lotion home. I think last time, I managed to use it sparingly enough to keep some around a year after the cruise. I just loved the smell!:earsgirl:

I never even used them onboard...but put them all away in my suit case. I didn't know it was cucumber lotion....hmmm. Now I'll have to try it.

I confess, I am one of those people who takes my "sample" soaps, lotions, and shampoos every day even though I don't use them. I donate them to a local women's shelter when I get home. Hehehe. The Cabin steward probably thinks that I shower way too much, but I don't feel too guilty! Ultimately I'm paying for it anyway!and the kids get a kick out of the Micky stuff.
