CTR reservation during Wishes?

I really wanted to do the Desert Party again this year but no luck on the day I wanted...boo! I am mad that 3 weeks ago I passed up an alternative night because things were hard to move around.

There is a late night 9:25 reservation at CTR and I thought this might be the next best thing. It will be myself, my dd 22, my ds's 19 and 21. So no babies to worry about for the late hour, just the senior citizen..ME!

Can you tell me your experiences. Mostly I don't want to be in a throng of people. I don't like it, but I want to be around/near/experience the fireworks.

CRT is the absolute worst place to see the fireworks. There are a few very small windows, but even the tables right next to them have an obstructed view.

The view from with CRT is fun, but I would only do this if you've already seen the show from Main Street or if you were looking for an alternate/different viewing location. You can see some of the higher/bigger fireworks through the stained glass windows and they do pipe in the music and lower the lights. You won't be able to see any of the effects on the castle or the fireworks shot from the castle, but it's still a fun way to see the show.

These photos were taken from one of the tables on the right side of the restaurant (when entering) in the upper area seating area along the inner railing. I think the tables on the main floor and on the left side also have a view through the glass. The tables along the right wall will probably not be able to see.
