CSR VS. POR or POFQ in May!

Hello! Just curious if anyone has any opinions on CSR, POR or POFQ. Last May we stayed at CSR and had a great time. Does anyone like POR or POFQ a lot better than CSR and why? Any input is greatly appreciated!!

May is a great time at WDW. CSR does not share transportation like POR and POFQ. CSR is centrally located and has the best pool of all the moderates. Check out my CSR resort website below for pics, links and info.

We love POFQ!! It's such a small, compact resort that we never felt like anything was too far away. It's nice to not have to walk too far for the food court (esp. if you get mugs and want to refill them often like us)....we rented a car when we stayed there in Jan and we are renting a car again in June so I can't comment on the transportation but I've not read terrible things about it. We have not stayed at any of the other moderates but I do know they are much bigger and more spread out. I guess it depends on what is important to you.....we like having everything close by so POFQ is a great choice for us....have a wonderful trip

If you've already been to CSR, you need to try one of the others. We loved POFQ last year. Boat to DTD was a plus. Beignets were deliciously messy.

I have stayed at POR and CSR
I like POR
the bus service is the same
POR is more relaxed and has a Bakerey and ice cream..
Pepper market is good also love the breakfast.
we just have Breakfast and maybe a late night snack after the parks or before going to PI.
all of theresorts are nice
I would say try something different...
they are all nice
I would stay at POR after satying at CSR last year.

We love CSR and POR !!! I would say if you have already stayed at CSR then try POR. It is a relaxed southern atmosphere. Also has great amenties plus the boat to DTD. Different themes and styles and both are a great choice.............haven't stayed POFQ, only walked and eaten beignets Pretty resort, quiet and small - we prefer more activity and don't want to travel over to POR for the amenities...............but has lots of fans !

Thanks for the info everyone! I think i'm going to have to try these "beignets". What are they?

Has anyone had problems with the buses to the parks at POR or POFQ? I guess that is my only concern since everything went so well at CSR last year!

Beignets are a puffed pastry dough that is coated in powder sugar after they come out fo the deep fryer. They are very lite and airy and delicious! You can only get them at POFQ.

Good Luck deciding where you want to stay. Personally we loved POFQ and will be trying CSR this April; so, we can't tell you which resort we like better. Unfortunately giving advise on a particular resort is subjective because everyone is different. Everyone has their own expectations and set of preferences. What I like someone else might hate and vise versa.

Editing to add: We had no problems with the bus while staying at FQ. We never waited more than five to ten minutes depending on when we got to the bus stop. Most of the time less than that as we had good timing! The bus stopped at FQ first when we were there. Never had a problem with getting a seat.

When we stay at POR we always catch the bus at the main building and never had a problem...........

Beignets are in the donut family.......originally from New Orlean's Cafe du Monde (also known for it's very thick coffee) along the Mississippi River. It is a dough that is fried and covered in powder sugar. Best eaten hot and fresh. Very sweet for breakfast but I love them for a dessert or snack. They are so yummy in the tummy !!!!
