csr to boardwalk

has anyone recently stayed at csr and taken the bus to boardwalk? i have read conflicting reports in the past about when the busses start and stop running. does anyone know what the set hours are? i'm also wondering about how long the ride is.

We were at CSR the beginning of March, here is what we encountered. One day around noon time we took a bus to Downtown Disney. This bus was marked "Boardwalk - Downtown Disney". The bus stopped at the BW and then went onto Downtown Disney. It was the same for the return trip back to CSR at about 3:00pm. So this gave us an idea to go to the BW one evening, went to the bus stop @7:30pm and when the bus came, it only said "Downtown Disney", we asked the bus driver and he told us that there are no buses from CSR directly to the BW. He said that we would have to change buses at Downtown Disney. So I guess it depends what time of day you are trying to get to the BW.

i guess we'll just have to take our chances on getting busses to and from bw when we want them. i have heard it is faster after illuminations to head over to bw and take a bus from there to csr. has anyone done this? will there be busses available at that time of night? last trip it took us forever in a huge crowd to get to the front of future world to catch a bus to all-stars.

We stayed at CSR in December 2000. I know it was over a year ago, but we went back and forth from the Boardwalk all week. It was wonderful at night to leave the WS in Epcot after Illuminations and walk through the International Gateway and get a quiet, uncrowded bus from Boardwalk to CSR! Highly recommend it. I do remember seeing a sign that the busses to Boardwalk are only after 4pm. CSR busses share DD/Boardwalk for some of the runs.
