CSR Smoking Rooms

Hi everyone. Hoping someone can tell me what rooms are smoking at CSR. I requested cabana 8a/9B I think based on distance to/from Dig Site and El Centro but I'd rather be further away and non-smoking. I am going with a smoker so if there are designated places that would be helpful as well. I'm just not willing to sleep in a smoking room.

If he's going to step right outside your non-smoking room to have a smoke, please choose a smoking room/building. The non-smokers in the rooms next to you wouldn't want to smell that, and your non-smoking room will end up smelling like smoke. Hey, you are choosing to vacation with a smoker, but you shouldn't make that choice for everyone else.

Cabana 9a has smoking optional rooms. The Dig Site is a smoking location and there are some designated spots in the rear of El Centro by the lake. You will see some benches with ashtrays stands next to them.

Nicely put Pat, I don't think I would've been as eloquent w/ my reply.

Smoking is still legal in case anyone has forgotten and they are entitled to enjoy there vacation BUT not at the expense of others. Pat certainly did NOT imply that was the case. My impression was that she was being respectful and considerate and that was all. Hope your family and friend enjoy their vacation Pat!

Thanks Brittsmum1998, you are quite right. I am more concerned with others' rights and being considerate than some others (obviously .) I think I needed that pat on the back and appreciate you replying. I first found these boards a couple of years ago and once I stopped "lurking" only lasted about a month before I was so put off that I didn't come back until just recently.

I'm mostly a lurker here too. Unfortunately lately its been brutal. Some people says its 'cause the debate boards are gone. Maybe us "New Englanders (Billerica, Mass here) " are more consciencious (sp?) of other peoples feelings. Have a great trip! If you go the end of June your friend may see me sitting by the ashtrays at CSR also enjoying MY vacation. Take care, Kim
