I'm having such a hard time planning this trip:confused3 I don't know where to stay. I have twin 2 yr. olds and I'm trying to make this as convenient as possible. I'm trying to find a place where they will have things to do....playground, pool, etc.. If we take a day off away from the parks. Easy quick transportation to MK, AK. etc.. Am i better off at CSR or one of the value resorts? Any opinions?

I haven't stayed at CSR but it is right up the road from the All-Stars so as far as travel time I would guess it is pretty much the same. Since they are too young to enjoy the water slide, I think the pools are All-Stars are probably just fine for your needs.

I would add that whichever one you choose, you check out a map and ask for a room as close to the bus stop as possible. At the end of a long day you want to be close to your room with toddlers.

You should try out POP century. It's a value and very "fun"... Lots to do- pool, arcade, food court, etc.

Good luck in your decision!

I would go to POP. They have a great kiddie pool area and a second area with water coming up with Goofy. They will have a great time there. And they will love the giant lady, tramp, jungle book, mickey phone and other disney fun.

We LOVE CSR!! We thought it was great for our DD3, because it was so quiet, and she had no trouble sleeping in in the AM. The pools were never crowded when we were there, and they had a nice kiddie pool. We have never stayed at the values, as they just look so overwhelming... instead of relaxing.

I agree with Pop. And love the pics! Not to mention with the "lil" extra money you are saving you will be able to apply it to something else.

I have never stayed at a value but i love csr! We took our 3yr old last Dec. and it was great. Big pool with a water slide, really quite and not very crowded.:)

Depending on the time of year you are going, check out renting points from a DVC member. There is a rental board here. You can often get accomodations at a deluxe resort for about the same price as a value. Example: In off season, you can rent points and stay at Old Key West for $80 per night for a studio. The All-star was going for $75.

I have stayed at the All-star Music and Pop Century. The busses were very crowded and noisy from all of the tired, screaming little tykes.

Also, you can get larger accomodations with DVC. Even a 1BR gives you more privacy. You can put the babies down for a nap and not have to sit quietly in a dark room. Also, the money you save on food with a full kitchen, and doing laundrey in the room, can make up for the extra $ you spend on the room.

The last two years we have stayed at CSR. We love it there! They have a kiddie pool, playground area which is right next to the pool. There is a snack bar outside bathrooms there and like a sandbox area.My daughter loves it there! I have never stayed at POP but I'm sure it's great as well.Good Luck!

My children loved Pop!! They really enjoyed the fountain and the kiddie pool. And my daughter (3) loved walking past Lady and the Tramp every day.
