Csr Help!!!

I've been reading these boards for days....and I still can't figure out which section to stay at. I have a 6 and 9 year old...only staying for 2 nights after our 7 night eastern cruise. Just wanted the best location ( maybe closest to the pool??) Can anyone shed some light on this??

Also going to be staying at Ron Jon's resort...thank you to everyone for all the helpful info.

Closest to the dig site pool would be cabanas 8A I think, as well as close to the bus stop. Have a great time!! Wonderful resort!!

We stayed in Ranchos 7B and we were a very short walk away from the Dig Site (themed pool) and the bus stop for the parks. El Centro (where the registration desk and resturants are )was about an 8 min. walk but knew that we were'nt planning to eat there, so that didn't matter. The evening we did take a stroll across the lake, (we did use the bridge LOL) we ended up eating at the Maya Grille (which I highly recommend), the walk was beautiful. The resort lit up at night is just beautiful with lights shimmering off of the lake!! WOW!!!

You will love the CSR!! Remember to visit the pool during the day also because the water slides are closed in the evening. It's a great way to take a break from the parks, as long as you can drag the kids out of the pool!!

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop #1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge.

Cabana 8a is very close to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a short walk to the main building.

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 cabanas above.

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop #4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. Casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.

Does anyone know which buildings are non smoking at CSR?

I would recommend most of the cabanas. 9B is our favorite, but we did not place a building request this year, as all are quite convenient.

Only know that 9A is smoking, as we were placed there last year. Did not end up complaining though as we had a room facing the quiet pool and what a treat it was! My daughters loved having the pool right outside our door and we loved the convenience of being able to sit outside in the evening after putting them to bed.
