I keep seeing this referenced in other threads, but can't seem to find the why. I tried searching. I know I want to make a room request for my CSR trip coming up, but am not sure what makes the corner rooms different. Can anyone help me? TIA! :worship:

In general, many people like corner rooms because most have an extra window and you have fewer neighbors making them quieter. We stayed in a ground floor corner room in Casitas 3 and it was super quiet. We did not however have an extra window as it was a corner where there was a handicap ramp snaking against the wall.

Corner rooms have an extra window, so they "feel" bigger visually. They tend to be at the end of long walkways or have spectacular views depending on their location. So they tend to be a plus.

Also, all three corner rooms I have been in were connecting rooms, which make them even more desirable with families.

Our corner room last time didn't have an extra window either, but the location and view were awesome. We were in Casitas 4 top floor corner room at top of stairs facing lagoon. We could see and hear the Epcot fireworks every night from the railing outside our room and around the corner was a great view of the quiet pool and Expedition Everest of in the distance. This was a great location for us, great view, across the pool from the fitness club which I used several times in our 14 night stay, 2 mins from busstop 2, and only 4-5 min walk from main building. You would have to pay for waterview to get that room though.
