CSR=Beautiful

We just got back Saturday (14th) and absolutely loved the resort! We stayed in Casitas building 3, it was not renovated but that was ok, I didn't request anything. The room was very clean and the kids were excited about the towel animal, lol! It actually made it easier to have the table and chairs. The building was very close to the main building which was fine with us since my kids are not much into swimming. My son did love the playground and arcade. We walked around the lake and it did not take us long to do. The buses were awesome, the only bus we really had to wait for was DTD bus. I know some people question about it not having enough Disney theme but you know, after a long day at the parks it was nice to just come back and sit by the lake and relax. My son had fun checking out the ducks, seagulls and fish, lol! The marina opened a few days before we left and we saw people fishing. As for the conventioners, the only time we really saw them was at lunch time and late at night hanging by the bar. The weather was gorgeous the entire week!!! As we got on the plane to come home our pilot mentioned how Syracuse, NY was a balmy 25 degrees, lol, and said if anyone wanted to get off he wouldn't blame them, it was very tempting, lol! Thanks to Buzz and everyone else's helpful information! This is a place we will definitely go back to

10yrsApart, what floor were you on and what was your view? We are thinking of requesting Casita 3 but a renovated room. I think I read that the third floor has been renowed. Was is close enough to the bus for you guys? Welcome back!

We were on the 3rd floor (room 3334), coming out of our room you could see part of the lake looking down towards building 4 and 5. It was very close to bus stop 1, main building. Took us maybe 5-10 minutes to get to our room, depending on how tired my 4yr. old was. Bus stop 1 is picked up and dropped off last except one time one of the buses went backwards. I believe (Buzz or KatMark would know more) only the 4th floor is renovated, that's what it looked like to us.

Hi All,
10 Years apart glad to see you had a good time ! Were from Utica, NY and leaving out of Syracuse on Monday afternoon 2/23/09 for 8 nights at CSR. No kids this time and celebrating our 38th Wedding Anniversary.

In two weeks from today, we'll be at CSR for the first time! YEAHH!!!!!!! Six days with just my DH and I~no kids! Even more YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But my biggest fear is the weather. We're from CA, and I don't do humidity well AT ALL. We were there last time Sept/Oct 05, and the humidity nearly killed me. What can I expect this time????

Can I ask why you did not use bus stop #2?

We tried it one night (walked thru the parking lot) and honestly, it felt like a longer walk to us. Plus going thru the main building we knew exactly where we were going, lol!
