Absolutely LOVE CSI.
CSI Miami will never get my attention unless they give the boot to LAME-O David Caruso.

Never miss an episode of CSI. I also love L&O: SVU and L&O (the original).

Funny you should mention the flashlights. My DM was talking about this AWFUL show that all they do is walk around in the dark using flashlights. It took me a few minutes before it dawned on me she was talking the CSI shows!! DH and I both love CSI, but now we call it the Flashlight show. We also love all the Law and Order shows. The best thing is that usually there is at least one CSI or Law and Order show on every day!! Gotta love cable!

Miami and I can't get into CSI-Miami either! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Grissom he is a HOTTIE! Caruso does NOTHING for me, I do catch it once in awhile to see my neighborhood, thats about it!

I love both shows. I can't get enough of them. I like that and ER those three shows is all I watch now.

Love the original -- own both Season 1 and 2 on DVD.

Hate David Caruso; his acting drives me absolutely nuts. Look somebody in the eye for once!!

The DVD sets are the COMPLETE seasons, every episode, with tons of extras. They are worth it to CSI nuts like ourselves. eBay prices are usually a bit cheaper than retail.

Like I said, I watch both although I prefer the original. "Miami"'s getting better. I did watch it last night and it was good - very sad though. Horratio was pretty believable. I think they're trying to soften his character a bit.

I love both CSI's! I love that Emily Procter left West Wing and is now on CSI Miami! I agree seaSeye that it was sad and Harratio's character showed a softer side last night.

I also like NCIS!

Poohbear, Not sure when you fell asleep, but the special needs guy ended up being beaten by the duo that mugged the diamond guy. He died and Horatio took it hard. He nailed the bad guys though. One guy bumped the diamond dealer's car while a second "shooter" who was wearing "COLTEN" sneakers killed him. "H" nailed him because he left physical evidence when he beat up Eugene, (the mentally challenged witness who died).

I agree Courtasan Satine, Speedle is a great character.

So, who watched LV last night? Anyone get the feeling Grissom isn't going to REST til he nails that doctor?????!!!!!

And what about him and Sara? Will they get together...we know they both want to but will he be able to??

I love them both! Even though they are both CSI, they are two different shows and I don't think you can really compare. I love David Carusso and I think he plays the character well. I do love Law and Order too. And I just started to watch Navy CIS and really like that too I like Mark Harmon, loved him in that movie Summer School, so funny!

You know what they say, "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!" Hopefully that's true about Miami too! Since my husband probably doesn't know that I watch CSI Miami more for the "scenery" than the story sometimes. Kind of like my Star Trek poll on the CB.

Las Vegas - definitely (my dd14 has a major crush on Greg).

Reasons why I hate Miami (the show, not the location):

1. Horatio's ridiculous one-liners.
2. Investigators spotting miniscule pieces of evidence across the room while standing in the open doorway of a dark room.
3. The co-star investigators have NO personality.
4. The grim, angry look on everyone's face - they take themselves way too seriously.

Las Vegas has comedy, personality, inside stories, as well as the fascination of it being the First CSI.

The creators of CSI announced today that they are planning a3rd show in the CSI line - Manhattan.

I too love the original and cannot get into Miami. It's like the whole reality TV phenomenom - find something that works and then beat it to death until no one likes it anymore because its everywhere. They whould not have another CSI UNLESS they put it on in the summer when everything else is in reruns.
