eek!

All I can say is... Wow!

I think we are looking at different definitions.

I'm scared to search anymore.

Nebo: A trollop? And I was being nice lately. Harump!

I have an issue with my laptop where if my hand ever so slightly touches the built in mouse pad my curser will go elsewhere and I tend to delete stuff without knowing it. I have tried many times to turn it off, but it refuses to turn off.

I did type Blizzard Beach a few times, but the puter obviously didn't want me to inform you all of where the snake was.

Smidgy: You are a better woman than I. I could never EVER allow a snake into my home. Nope, never, ever.

:worship::worship:Fear Verlander! Did you see what he did to Beckham's bat the other day?

that's right Rozz,, with Thumper man leading the way the kids took over the classroom until they found a substiture teacher.
Hey Thump, ready to go to work again? Boy, I wish you had already taken your DL vacation and you and Lady H could talk about that while we are gone.

You mean I get a chance to close down, I mean take over this thread again while you're gone.
rubbing-hands.gif

Don't worry Mr. Nebo sir. Your thread is safe with me.

Lady H and I were just saying the other day that one of us needs to get a TR started for DL. Debating on whether we want to do a pre-trip report. Not too long after you get back, we'll be headed out to DL. Hope you and Smidgy have fun with Jackson. Can't wait to hear about it.

Great. Now I'll never get Lady H to come down from the ceiling.

Like I said .... I would have taken the vitamin "V". Never enter the parks without chemical back up.

I feel akin to you this week since the "gravity got turned up" on me Monday and I fell down my stairs at home ... alone. I thought for sure that I had broken my ankle, but thankfully ?? it is just badly sprained. So I am handicapped for a few weeks. And my stingy nurse practitioner at the ER only gave me TEN vikes. TEN ?? I am sure you will understand the absurdity of that low number .... I may be a scooter person for our trip in September.

Enough about me ... looking forward to your next installment. :)

Um, yeah I did come across that little fact while I was reading the old Nebo TRs recently. I give you a lot of credit for allowing this in your house! I would have been moving out. Or else kicking DH and the snakes out.

Hi Darla, where ya been? Go ahead, admit it ,,, you missed me,,, yah you did, you missed me!

Yup, I missed ya! I love reading your reports -- you always crack me up. I got excessively lost on your last report, but finally went back and caught up reading it. I was away from the DIS for a while -- life just got crazy. But I'm back! And even thinking about another Disney trip...

(sorry honey, I think I just lost most of your fan base)

EEEEK!!!!! Just kidding! I don't mind snakes, too much. As long as I don't have to pick it up! I know people who have pet snakes and they don't creep me out like that one in my pool did!

You guys leave in just a couple of days! Hope you have a GREAT trip!!!

Ok, what have we got today, anybody to make fun of ,,, besides me? Since I'm not able to fight back very well lately due to the heat in the confuser room.

Thank goodness our pool is above ground. If I ever found a snake swimming in my pool, the pool would be taken down immediately! I can't even look at snakes behind glass at the zoo without shuddering.

Our pool WAS above-ground! We had a deck attached, though, and I think the snake crawled up the posts for that and fell into the pool...

We'd had a pool for years, though, and this was the only snake we'd ever had in it. Frogs, now -- that's another story...

Hmm, ok,, I am a little bit surprised on two counts here:
One of you are from "Upper You Nork" while the other is from Buffalo, which is "Upper You Nork" too.
Buffalo, is a suburb of Canada, and the other one may be Buffalo as well. This means that your summer lasts from July 18, to July 24, not even a single full week.

YET YOU EACH HAVE YOUR OWN SWIMMING POOLS?
Boy, that almost a week must be filled with some wild and crazy pool parties!!
Can I come next year?

And also,,, all snakes are cold blooded.
This means that there really are not too many indigenous snakes found at the Arctic Circle, so the odds that the only living legless reptillian in your area ending up in your swimming pool are on the remote side, to say the least.

And I don't have to be an ingenuous genius to point out these facts are generous concerning the indigenous genus you would generally find in a genuine generalization book concerning reptiles.

Whew! And please stop me next time.
but do it gently.

Oh thank you. Over six years of trip report writing now, shot to hell!

Back trouble stinks, and it's even worse in a crowded park. I can attest to that.

Enjoy your trip! We're sending the kids to be with their grandparents for just under 2 weeks, and I told DH that we're going to EPCOT and having a dang drink! It'll be nice to tour the parks without the little bra... er... darlings.

Hi Beka Beka Beka, that is Smidgy's plan this trip also,,, she really wan'ts this drink from France, I think it's a Grand Marnier Slushy or something like that.
And no, I don't worry if I may have it wrong, my computer comes with "factcheck" , it's and APP called Smidgy that automatically turns on after I spend hours writing and posting to auto-post that I got it all wrong, and make the proper corrections.

Cindy, I have always liked that exclamation. Do you think it had ever, ever in the history of the world, been used and said the way it appears it should be when it is used in print?

I think we are looking at different definitions.

I'm scared to search anymore.

Smidgy: You are a better woman than I. I could never EVER allow a snake into my home. Nope, never, ever.

That's funny, Smidgy herself spotted a snake at BB,,, I wasn't there at the time, and the area where we were sitting just freaked out, but Smidgy went to try to catch it, being pretty sure it wasn't poisenous. From her description it really sounded like a racer,,, but even thought they are not poisenous, they can still bite a bit ,,, I yelled at her though.
There's a lot more venomous snakes in Florida than the couple of rattlesnakes species we hve oup here, and the ones down there can do a lot more damage.
And please stay away from the pretty little snake with the red, yellow and black bands going around it's body. It looks almost just like a King, or Milk snake, but it's a Coral Snake, that has the same type of toxin as a Cobra.

The rule for the colors to tell them apart is,
"Red touch yellow, Kill a fellow"
"Red touch black, venom lack."
But you are best not touching any of them, suddight?

Yeah Monica, I did see that, even though the link isn't worrking anymore. What amazes me about him is that he just doesn't seem to get tired! Whether first of 8th inning, he's still throwing over a hundred miles an hour! He reminds me of that old Twilight episode where the new recruit is a robot that looks like a rookie, and nobody can touch him.
But to make him "baseball legal" they have to give him an artificial heart, which now makes him not want to hurt anyone's feeling by striking them out. :lmao:

Hey, I didn't say i twas Golden Globe material!

Thump, as of Sunday I leave this in your hands, just remember :
Don't feed it after midnight,,
Don't let it get wet,,,

Heck, I know your name, don't I? Sorry.
Sorry to hear about your injury, you need to tell her you are going to Disney to make sure you can at least have her phone back in to the pharmacy for at least one refill.

Yes,, ten are a joke,,, that's like giving Otis Campbell a bottle of Nyquill when he checks into the jail on Saturday night.
Hope you aren not dependent on a wheelchair or ECV on your trip.

Um, yeah I did come across that little fact while I was reading the old Nebo TRs recently. I give you a lot of credit for allowing this in your house! I would have been moving out. Or else kicking DH and the snakes out.

When those eggs hatched,,, we were both proud parents,,, it was really cool, well especially for me cuz I was the one that mostly tried to do everything right to incubate them, aside from sitting on the eggs myself. :rotfl2:

Ok,,, I have to do some work here ,,, prolly tomorrow,,, heh, I threw that in cuz Ponzi loves it so much when you say "prolly" ,,,, um,,,, uh,,, squirrels? where was I going,, Oh,,, yeah,, gotta change the name a bit,,, and I guess the first chapter a bit to explain what the heck I'm doing,,, just in case somebody new ever comes here again.
Hey, you never know,, it COULD happen.

Then, after I do all that,, I want to get one more chapter in,,, mostly talking about the upcoming trip though, and that will PROLLY be it as far as substance goes until we return, maybe some callouts if I get this done tomorrow, I can have a few words saturday if I have time.

\ so,,, goodnight, and God bless

Sorry .... it's Susan .....I knew you would understand about the vikes :goodvibes

Buffalo, is a suburb of Canada, and the other one may be Buffalo as well. This means that your summer lasts from July 18, to July 24, not even a single full week.

Well, my "Upper You Nork" could also be called Upper PA, as we are very near the PA border, so a little more south than Buffalo. :rotfl: We actually don't have our pool anymore, either. We decided that it was a LOT of work for a couple months use. We could generally use the pool comfortably from June through early September. If we were lucky.

And also,,, all snakes are cold blooded.
This means that there really are not too many indigenous snakes found at the Arctic Circle, so the odds that the only living legless reptillian in your area ending up in your swimming pool are on the remote side, to say the least.

Hmm... We must have weird snakes. Cause we got lots. We even have rattlesnakes in the vicinity. I haven't seen one in our yard/neighborhood, but they have a protected area for rattlers in the next town over... Yes, we live in the boonies. :rotfl2: At least, most of the snakes we have are not of the poisonous/venomous variety.

I have an issue with my laptop where if my hand ever so slightly touches the built in mouse pad my curser will go elsewhere and I tend to delete stuff without knowing it.

Okay was that intentional? 'Cause that kind of behavior from your cursor really would turn you into a curser!! :p

Whew! You didn't see me sitting here.

Oh thank you. Over six years of trip report writing now, shot to hell!
I can't even express my fear and distaste for snakes. Somebody earlier said she couldn't even walk by them in glass enclosures at the zoo, well, me too!

Thump, as of Sunday I leave this in your hands, just remember :
Don't feed it after midnight,,
Don't let it get wet,,,
And brush it once a day to keep its coat shiny.

Once again, EEW!

I'm with Ponzi... on the prolly issue, and I have a daughter who uses it constantly.

Great update, Nebo!

I am a longtime reader of "The Adventures of Nebo & Smidgy", and I can't believe I've actually found a TR that I can post on... ie: one that's not been closed for a year by the time I find it!:thumbsup2

I vote for a combined TR, but then who am I to vote..

I would vote for two separate reports but ponzie and I are definitely in the minority.

Did I see that you guys are going back again this year in November???

Glad you're doing a mini PTR for the next trip.

I guess if this thread gets really slow while you're gone, I can talk about my upcoming trip in 7 weeks. :)

Okay was that intentional? 'Cause that kind of behavior from your cursor really would turn you into a curser!! :p

Hey, Methuselah, nice catch, can I call you Meth for short? Yes, running out of M names, have I used the last name in the Old Testament yet?

All right! Hi Cool mom, nice to finally have you join us.
Hey Ponzi,,, look, I have a new reader, nya nya nya nya,,, I bet you wish she'd come and post over on your thread.
But I'm not going to give her the signal to go over by you, well, not unless,,, um,,, hang on,,,

oh,,, uh,,, never mind,,, there she goes, guess I overdid it, she left.
Looks like,,, hmm, yeah,,, she's on her way over to Laura's thread! Oh well, easy come,,,,,:lmao:

Ok,, gonna getto work and screw everything up.

oh,,, uh,,, never mind,,, there she goes, guess I overdid it, she left.

No!! I'm still here!:wave2:
I'd never abandon a Nebo TR in progress!! I'd get my 'Cool Mom' card revoked!!:rotfl2:

:D. I doubt it. Personally, when startled by a critter or some such, my exclamation is usually AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH... not Eek.
