CSE-- Pg. 74 SATAN'S HAMMER, Ch.18, pg.160 "Goodnight Sweetheart" epilogue

Combine, start a new one... Either way is ok with me. I'm just along for the ride. But do keep in mind how we all ran amok on your last TR while you were on WDW.
while nebo's gone! :dance3:party::jumping1: :stir:

Forget the kids. Tell us!

Just kidding...sort of.

::yes::

I'm in the combine them crowd. Lady H and I will be in DL next month ourselves.

DL and then WDW. I am so jealous! Have a lovely time!:goodvibes

Lazy river, lazy river........

One time in the lazy river with my kids, they were in tubes I was walking and along the way I was picking out leaves, sticks, etc cause I'm a tart like that and one stick was NOT a stick.

It was a snake!

We laugh about the crazy dance I performed in public and the scream I let out all the time over here.

Sorry about the back. I was feeling your pain this last chapter and that should not happen while on vacation, ever.

To anyone!

I vote for combining them as well. That will give me something to read for the rest of the year:)

I think that whatever works best and is easiest for you, you should do.

I look forward to each and every installment but understand how time consuming they must be. I'm just happy to have the chance to read them and partake whenever I can.

I can't get past the part where you called yourself a tart.

Sorry to hear you're still screaming. Hopefully it will pass in a few more years.

To anyone!

Where was this lazy river? I need to make sure I never ever ever use it. I hate snakes! :scared:

Who does that?? Who goes around picking out debris from a pool while on vacation? Me! That is why I'm a tart. Does that have different meaning in Cananda?Sorry to hear you're still screaming. Hopefully it will pass in a few more years.

Ha! My lack of punctuation!

That was in 2005, I threw that snake so far it probably landed on some poor folk sunbathers. My knee jerk reaction was to throw, hard and fast! No time to even process what I was doing.

Step 1. Go to Google.
Step 2. type in: Definition tart
Step 3. Look at the definition. There are two. Number 1 is: 1.An open pastry case containing a filling. Go to the next one.

OMG I can't imagine how freaked out you must have been when you realized it was a snake. I wonder where it eventually landed.

I almost did the same thing (thinking a snake was a stick) IN MY OWN POOL!!! I was floating around on a mat and thought a twig had fallen into the pool. I reached over and started to pick it up when it MOVED! Then I moved. I don't think I've ever gotten out of the pool so fast. :rotfl2: It was just an itty bitty snake. I think it was after some of the bugs and/or frogs that like to hang around the pool, but it fell in. It was swimming for all it was worth to the other edge. I helped it out with a net. Sure scared me at first, though!

Thank goodness our pool is above ground. If I ever found a snake swimming in my pool, the pool would be taken down immediately! I can't even look at snakes behind glass at the zoo without shuddering.

Our pool WAS above-ground! We had a deck attached, though, and I think the snake crawled up the posts for that and fell into the pool...

We'd had a pool for years, though, and this was the only snake we'd ever had in it. Frogs, now -- that's another story...

Please forgive me for abridged call-outs, I'm way behind and man, it's not getting any cooler up here,, and we leave for a total of two weeks in 4 days, and still got lot's to do.
If possible I'd like to maybe get a kind of a "pre-trip" chapter thing in,, not sure why really,, just to babble I guess.
But somethings need to be commented on:

while nebo's gone! :dance3:party::jumping1: :stir:

::yes::

that's right Rozz,, with Thumper man leading the way the kids took over the classroom until they found a substiture teacher.
Hey Thump, ready to go to work again? Boy, I wish you had already taken your DL vacation and you and Lady H could talk about that while we are gone.

Tart? Tart? I always thought of you as a sort of trollop, myself.

Don't get smart little Verlander Boy!

Nice catch, I missed that the first time myself.

Ok, couple things here:
First,, she mentions walking along with the kids as they are going through the lazy river. Secondly,, I'm guessing that said river is either at Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, since this is basically a Disney thread.

However,, she never did answer Jmm's question of where it happened, and yes,, i understand that sometimes complex questions can confuse you,,, and also,,, most Lazy rivers that I've been near don't have sidewalks along side of them, so now you've got me wondering about what other talents you have besides being able to walk on water?
Can you also turn it into wine also? Preferably not Boonesfarm? (brings back bad memories)

Hi Darla, where ya been? Go ahead, admit it ,,, you missed me,,, yah you did, you missed me!

nebo, do your "fans" know that we used to breed snakes? corn snakes. and about all the pet snakes we had, from a reticulated python to a ball python to a rat snake and a boa constrictor?

(sorry honey, I think I just lost most of your fan base)

Back trouble stinks, and it's even worse in a crowded park. I can attest to that.

Enjoy your trip! We're sending the kids to be with their grandparents for just under 2 weeks, and I told DH that we're going to EPCOT and having a dang drink! It'll be nice to tour the parks without the little bra... er... darlings.
