I haven't been able to find any place at DS that I like to eat - CS or TS. The kids really want to try Sci-Fi this trip so we'll do that as our lunch for that day. I'd really like to visit the Boardwalk this trip since we've never done that before. I thought a good plan would be to take the boat from DS to the Boardwalk for the evening and do a CS dinner there. Any suggestions? We're on the dining plan so it would have to be somewhere that accepts it. TIA.

There really aren't any good CS options for the DP (IMHO) at the Boardwalk. There's a pizza take out window (which may be gone since Spoodles is no more) and the Boardwalk Bakery. The Bakery has a few sandwiches, but nothing like a typical CS. In my expereince, the selection is very picked over in the evenings.

My advice is to eat at the DHS before you come even though you aren't crazy about the options there, or plan to spend out of pocket for that evening - maybe at Beaches 'n Cream at the BC, or the Fountain (at Dolphin) or the Picabu Buffeteria also at the Dolphin.

There is a hot dog/chicken nugget stand on the BW but it isnt that good

There really isn't a good CS option in the BW area. There are cheaper TS options like The Fountain over at the Dolphin resort or Picabu at the Dolphin ( neither take the dp) or there is Beaches and Cream over at the Beach Club which takes the dp, but not adrs and is small so has long waits for tables. There is also Hurricaine Hannahs poolside at Beach Club which has a few items and is CS

Thanks for the replies. Maybe we'll skip the Boardwalk area this trip.
