CS large enough to share for lunch?

What CS restaurants have offerings that are large enough to share for lunch and/or breakfast. We aren't huge eaters, and will likely be doing larger TS dinners on the DDP (buffets, Ohana's, Le Cellier, Narcoossee's, etc.), so I'm curious how to make the CS stretch to cover mostly lunch but maybe some breakfasts.

I know that Cosmic Ray's chicken combo is a good size, same goes for the sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich in DTD. Where else would you recommend? Does Sunshine Seasons have portions that are large enough to split?

As for breakfast, I saw a few resort QS menus (AKL-Mara, CBR, and another) had different "platters" that included eggs, bacon, sausage and french toast - so I figure that could easily be enough for us if DH has the eggs, I have the french toast an he eats the meats. Thoughts?

Thanks!

I find the pizza meal at Toy Story Pizza Planet in HS is pretty large and large enough to share.

The wraps at Cosmic Ray is very large. My husband and I always share this.

Pecos Bill's - Wraps are really large. There is also a great toppings bar there if you want to buff it up with a bit of extra lettuce. Even if you are really hungry, add a side of fries for a couple of dollars and there is more than enough! Happy munching!!:)

Columbia HArbor House
Anchors Aweigh Sandwich - white tuna with lettuce and tomato on toasted multigrain bun

Chicken Breast Nuggets and Fish - Served with French Fries or Apple Slices

Fried Fish Basket - Served with choice of either French Fries or Apple Slices

PAcos Bill's
Bacon Double Cheeseburger - served with your choice of french fries or apple slices

Flame Tree BBQ

1/2 Slab of St. Louis Ribs - served with baked beans and corn muffin

Smoked 1/2 Chicken - served with baked beans and corn muffin

Some CS meals that were big enough for DH and I to share include: Mu Shu chicken pocket sandwich at WPE, schwarma platter at Tangeriene, combo plate (two entree choices, two side choices) from the Asian counter at Sunshine Seasons, breakfast at Main Street Bakery (yogurt parfait, cinnamon roll and juice was plenty for two).

DSis & I are sharing an entree at Yak & Yeti's CS restaurant & I'm using a snack credit for a extra side of fried rice & a snack credit for a side of egg rolls.

You can also order a double cheese burger & cut it in half. Then, you both end up with a full burger.

While the sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich are delicious, I wouldn't say they are big enough to share. They are about the size of a 6" sub at Subway.

There are a lot of places in the parks that offer double cheeseburgers. Most of them will sell you an extra bun for $1.00 which you could pay for out of pocket. We usually just cut the burgers in half and save the carbs.

The turkey sandwich on ciabatta at The Mara at Animal Kingdom was wider than the plate and definitely share-able. They also offer a delicious item called Zebra Domes as a dessert. There are 5 in the container, which is more than enough to share. If you like chocolate mousse and coffee flavor you'll love them!

Wolfgang Puck Express, Tangerine Cafe (Morocco in EPCOT), Yak & Yet CS and Cosmic Ray's chicken/ribs entrees are quite large and easily share-able.

We have shared the BBQ chicken quesadilla and the chicken chinois salad at WPE and had plenty. The Italian cold cut sandwich at SS was also pretty big. When you factor in dessert too, it was more than enough.

DH and I got back a week ago. We shared a pizza at WPE. I tried to pay for the second soda but the CM wouldn't take my gift card - just gave me a second glass. We also shared a tuna sandwich at Columbia Harbour House. The CM there offered us a second soda instead of dessert, which was exactly what we needed. We told them upfront that we were sharing and it was no problem.

It really will depend on appetites...but we find that as our vacation progresses we're less & less hungry. So by day 3 or so, we could easily share a lot of our lunches.

Wolfgang Puck Express pasta dishes come with large side salad...this meal could definitely be shared.

Agree that Earl of Sandwich probably not quite big enough to share (well an adult & a young child, maybe. But not 2 adults.)

A lot of the choices at Sunshine Season/The Land/Epcot...the Asian platter, the grill choices also can probably be shared.

The shwarma platter at Morocco counter service is also good-sized.

Picnic in the Park- The one we got was 3 CS and it included 1 lb of ham, cup of coleslaw, cup of baked beans, 3 bottled waters and choices of apples, brownies or cookie for dessert all in a reusable bag that I now use for groceries. ;)

We actually thought it was ham sandwiches we were ordering but nope, it was sliced 1 lb of ham. Hey, that alone could have fed 5 people!

Thank you all so much for your input. I actually posted this before I left for a trip to Montreal, and then searched and searched but couldn't find it again (figures). We were looking at the Picnic in the Park, that's with AK, right?

We usually split a bagel sandwich for lunch, so we aren't huge eaters, especially when we know we have a large dinner coming. We've also split the CS meal for lunch at Wide World of Sports Cafe (we're there again this year for three days for the 3v3 tournament). The pulled pork was just enough for both of us, plus an extra water instead of the chocolate chip cookie or another dessert, with chips. Perfect. So, Earl may be OK for us if we make it to DTD for lunch.

Thanks again, happy planning!

LOL - did they give you bread with that ham

Interesting, didn't think of a snack credit for a side like fried rice or egg roll. Sweet. I'm also trying to watch my carbs anyway, so DH could eat the bacon + burger and I'll just have the patty minus the bun. YUM!
