Are there any CS locations that serve more than the normal or more adventure foods on the kids menu? My DNiece 8, who is coming with us this trip, is an adventurous eater and her mom would like her to be eating more than just chicken nuggets or hot dogs every day. Please let me know if there are and where they are so we can go there some. Thank you so much!

Also for locations that dont have a kids menu like Casey's and such she just orders off the menu right???

none of these are adventurous, but more than nuggets and yucky pizza

Cosmic Rays has a turkey sandwich, CHH and Pecos Bill have a salad w/ chicken, Tortuga Tavern has quesidillas and tacos, Yakatori House has teriaki chicken and rice, Flame Tree baked chicken drumstick, Diamond HOrseshoe has a ham or turkey sandwich
Sunshine Seasons has quite a few options- chicken and mashed potatoes, panini sandwich, sweet and sour chicken, ABC Commissary has a ham and cheese wrap

Yes if ordering from a place with no kids menu, she would order from the regular menu

Plus there are a few places that don't have kids meals so they can order from the adult menu. Mousesavers has quite a few tips related to this question.

There's a sticky at the top of the Dining Plan board that might give you some more ideas as well.

Don't worry - it IS possible to do the DIning plan and NOT have your kids eat nuggets every meal. I have done it a few times...These are my best tips:

1) Use kids CS credits for breakfasts - usually more variety and yummy.
2) Use kids CS credits for meals at food courts at the resorts - here again, usually more variety than in the parks.
3) Split some adult CS meals in the parks.
4) Schedule a bunch/most/all of your TS meals as buffets. Kids can eat anything and everything that adults eat here.
5) Use kids CS credits at places like Main St Bakery - no kids menu, and can get things like muffins, etc.
6) Instead of using CS credits for a lunch or two - Do 'Snack meals' for the child - get soup, bagel, fruit cups, baked potato, etc. and mix a few of these into a meal.
7) Find the CS places with the most kids meal variety and be sure to eat at those places once or twice. Examples: WOlfgang Puck Express, Sunshine Seasons.

Using a mixture of all of the above, we've been able to use the Basic Dining Plan for a week or more and have the kids eat nuggets or pizza only once or twice during the week.

It IS doable!
