We have the DDP. I'm set on my TS restaurants, but I'm trying to plan our CS to use those up. We've just never done a ton of CS meals in the past. It's myself, DH and DS4. None of us are picky eaters. In fact, I would say we're all rather adventurous (my son eats stuff like escargot, artichokes and crawfish without batting an eye) Here are the ones I'm thinking about hitting up this year:

Breakfast:
BOG
Sleepy Hollow - paying OOP for fruit and Nutella waffles
Need one CS breakfast on AK day - staying at POR, so that will be our fallback

Lunch:
Pecos Bills
Yak & Yeti
Katsura Grill (Yay? Nay? Alternatives?)
Cosmic Rays (Yay? Nay? Alternatives?)
Min & Bill's Dockside (I literally have never read any reviews of this place)

Dinner:
Wolfgang Puck - which one is better?

Not much for a true QS breakfast at AK, save a stop at the Starbucks. I'd hit the POR food court to use that credit.
I was afraid of this. I had a TH ADR, but we've done TH breakfast the last 2 years. I wanted to switch to try dinner instead.

Katsura wouldn't be my first choice in the World Showcase. We love Tangierine Cafe, and those of us in my family who are not gluten-free by necessity love Les Halles. The seating at the latter sucks, so better for "off" times. But Tangierine is usually easy enough to get a table at. Les Halles is great for snack credits - desserts and savory stuff.

I'm not sure that there is any CS in MK or HS that I like all that much, other than lunch at BOG. But you're already going there for breakfast. Our HS plan is always to eat wherever we are when we get hungry! :) I liked a salmon salad at the ABC commissary last year b/c it was at least not burgers or fried... but I think it was taken off the menu.

AK Flame Tree BBQ. Large portions, great food
EP Tangerine Cafe. Not for everyone but the food is very good.
EP Sunshine Seasons. Different PODS serving something for everyone. All good.
POR Mill Court. Love the pasta your way. One of the best QS DDP values.
DS Wolfgang Pucks Express (I believe the Marketplace one is the better of the two)
Coronado Pepper Market

I wouldn't go out of my way for the Pepper Market.

We are big fans of Columbia Harbor House. I dream about the tuna sandwich. Sounds like a stupid thing to crave, but it's one of the things I can't wait to have at WDW.

Love all the suggestions!

Two of the CS places we actually have eaten at are Tangierine Cafe and Columbia Harbor House, so I was trying to do some different ones. This will be our last WDW vacation for a few years (have cruises and Europe planned for the next couple of years), so I am trying to get in as many new places as possible.

Flame Tree was on the list when we were doing TH for breakfast. I may need to go there, since my husband is a rib fanatic.

I had Les Halle's on my plan for some snack credit usage (yes, I'm planning my snacks. I'm hoping to avoid the end of trip scramble to buy up packable snacks this year). We could go there instead of Katsura and use the snack credits in Norway.

I've had some of the best CS food at Pepper Market. We often take an afternoon break from the parks and head to lunch somewhere before hopping to a different park for the night. POR we love as well, mainly the pasta bar. For that we bus to DS and boat to POR just for a relaxing time and a good lunch!

I'm glad to hear POR dinner is good. If our flight is delayed on arrival night, it will be our fallback instead of Wolfgang Puck.

Planning snacks doesn't sound dumb to me at all! If you want to maximize your DDP value, planning is the only way to go. We usually end up using snack credits for me for light meals since we do the arrive early on the first day / stay late on the last day thing and will run out of meal credits. And many end up being used at Gaston's b/c we love those cinnamon rolls for a late-ish breakfast! We stayed at POR in Feb 2 years ago. I can't remember what meals the others had, but I had soup on a snack credit there too - I use everyone's snack credits, they get my CS meals, I guess!
