CS and Dining Plan?

If you are at say MK and my DD and I wanted Casey's and DH & DS wanted Peco's Bill can you do that or does everyone have to eat at the same place? This is probably a crazy question but I'm just trying to learn about the dining plan.

Yes, that is fine on the plan.

You can spend your "credits" wherever you choose as long as it is covered in the dining plan - the whole family does not have to eat at the same places. As a matter of fact my family is choosing 4 different countries in Epcot to get a CS meal so that we can all share different types of food for lunch
