How has Crystal Palace been? I get grossed out by buffets so we tend to avoid them but my little guys would like to go. What happens if you make a 1045am breakfast do they start bringing out lunch stuff since lunch is at 11am I rather have breakfast foods we fly in that day so trying to get the latest breakfast possible

Breakfast was decent when we went. Some great foods and good character interactions. Some pretty average food, but I would say that your plan would work.

Booking a late breakfast at a buffet is my favorite way to go because you actually get both the breakfast and lunch foods for the breakfast price. They will shut down one side of the breakfast buffet and start putting out lunch, but for a period of time, both will be available.

I would personally aim a little bit earlier to get the best of both worlds buffet. In my experience, if you go for the last few minutes of breakfast you aren't getting super fresh food because they aren't going to refill just to toss it 5 minutes later. If you plan on eating a couple plates, I'd aim maybe 20-30 mins earlier.

Another consideration is that CP can run a few minutes late, sometimes. If you make a reservation too late into the breakfast times, there is a chance that you would not be seated until after the lunch switch.

I was there is May for the Late breakfast/early lunch. I hadn't planned on it but it had an opening so I took it. So happy I did. The food was fresh all the way throughout breakfast and lunch. I love a buffet because you can eat at your own pace. I am a very slow eater but when I was more in my commando phase. It was nice to just keep moving - eat and run. You can ask for your check up front and can leave the restaurant when you are done. Nice to not wait for a check.

Is 10 am too early to be able to experience both breakfast and lunch food? Just trying to find a balance if they do sometimes run late and to make sure the breakfast food is still fresh.
