Crystal Palace Ressi on FP +

We have an early reservation for breakfast at Crystal Palace. In the past I have just had a piece of paper with my reservation number on it and showed it to the early entry entrance person.... Now that we have everything on our magic bands.... I was wondering if my reservation will be on there and they can just scan those?

Anyone done before park opening entry since all this new technology has been put in place?

We went to CP on our last visit in November with magic bands. I just gave my name at the check in desk & they found me on the system. There isn't a check in Mickey head as you see at the entrance to rides but you can of course pay with your band if you have your account set up for charging.

You can see your reservations on the app which is handy - always a good idea to have your reservation number with you incase the system has a blip.

We always get the early entry too it was very simple, head to the left side of the entrance where there will be a line, or one wi soon form behind you. They had a list of reservations the last time we were there if I remember correctly & checked us off but in the past they have just sent us through as soon as the park was ready for us.

The folks at the ADR entrance in the mornings typically have a print out of all the mornings ADR's. At least that's the way things have been done in the past.

We had a ADR for 8:05 last June, got in the ADR line before park opening and at 8:00, they let the whole line in without asking for any names or ADR times. Anyone could have been in that line and let in on that morning. Not to mention, we are asked to be at our ADR 15 minutes early and we were stuck outside the gate in a huge line at that time.

We went to CP about a month ago for an 8:05 reservation. We are APs and don't have a MB yet, but our cards lit up the green Mickey's at the left side entrance for early arrivals. No list that I saw and didn't have to give our name. Our reservations were linked to our MDE.

we had an pre park opening ADR for CP last October, there was no one at the park entrance checking to see if anyone had an ADR. We had MBs but at that time there were still resorts that were not testing yet and of course off site guests. I had printed my ADRs just in case, I was surprised no one was checking.

I have never not tried to show it to them, I walk up and explain and show them my number and they let me through. This year all my stuff is on the band... and I guess I just assumed there would be scanners or whatnot.

We were there in feb. this year and they had the stand with the Mickey head at the early entry off to left hand side. We just put our magic bands up to it and it lit up green, just like it does when you have a valid fast past reservation. That being said, I can't remember if that was for entry into the park meaning admission or if it was for making sure you had a valid early reservation. Or maybe both? I guess what I'm saying is, I can't remember if we put our MB up to a mickey stand prior to getting in the early entry line for admission to the park and then again in the early breakfast line. Hope you can make sense of what I'm trying to say.

We went last month and scanned our band and went right in. No one checked anything. There was a CM holding a sign for ADR's and we went there are were directed on where to go.

I was there last week. After they let us in they had someone checking names against ADR list before they would let you go up Main St. In the past they have never bothered to check.

Perhaps they are checking more now due to the Anna & Elsa craze.

I'm not the least bit surprised by this. I'm sure that had to be done.

We always do early entry to the MK a couple times every trip. I can't even remember the last time they actually asked our names. I bet they do now though!

I always have hard copy of my ADR numbers...just in case. I've had issues upon checkin a few times...so being able to give them the exact conf number is a huge time saver. Sure, it may be better with the MBs,, but I'm just not taking that chance. I will have the numbers for each day programmed into the note section of my iPhone.

But with the Anna and Elsa thing it makes sense they would change how they do things. Thankfully we have a fast pass for that. I have an 8:10am ADR at Crystal Palace during our upcoming trip; but I always have the information in a couple of places; so I can pull it out. I’ll be sure to pull it up on MDE before we get there. I think I’ll also make a calendar entry on my phone with the confirmation #. Probably means we need to get there a little earlier than we have in the past too.

Checking the names on the list didn't seem to take any longer than folks scanning their bands/tickets so there was no line waiting to check names.

Great idea about calendar entry in your phone! I did take screen shots of my ressies I.from the app but I like the calendar idea better.

Does anyone have a map or picture showing where to go. I keep seeing to the left. I assume after you go through baggage check head to the left. Having trouble picturing this in my head.
