It is not vague; CP is a buffet, so they serve different items every day. Both sites try to give the most info, based on their experiences, but buffets change daily. You have to go with the flow. Character meals are mostly about experiences and not solely about the food.

I understand that. I was just just hoping someone had more specifics. I know the Cape May buffet menu is pretty specific. My mom has a couple food intolerances, and I know they will help accommodate her but I guess having a starting point is helpful. I guess we will find out in a 9 days. It's our last meal of our trip.
I have gone to CP every trip and find the buffet pretty consistent with slight variations.
You usually have carved meats ... Turkey and beef or something like that. Always a salad bar. Mashed potatoes, veggies, some type of rice, some type of pasta salad, usually a fish dish ... I can say its not very "plain" food (a lot of things are in sauce) so if she has special dietary requirements I would make note if that on your ADR.
