Is it good? I've enjoyed their breakfast, but have never eaten there for lunch?
Thanks!!

We've done lunch at Crystal Palace twice. I really enjoyed the food & there's a lot of variety on the buffet for everyone in the party. Lots of veggies for me and a variety of meat for those who like that. There's also a child's section with chicken nuggets, pizza, mac n cheese. The dessert bar has everything you could want! I would get early lunch ressie's, though. We've always done about 11:30 and gotten to meet the characters twice that way and not had to wait in a long line for food either.

Hope that helps.

We really like the breakfast selection much more than the lunch...Yes, there is a large selection but we were not impressed with the quality/taste of the lunch food...We will go back for breakfast but not for lunch...But that is just us ;)

We (a nice size grou) went once and I will not go back. When we went it was a "big deli". I actually sat and had a drink while the rest of the family ate because I could not see spending that amount of money for a sandwich. As said already these are our opinions. We are not ssure of your likes or dislikes. For a chacter experiance (pooh and friends) then I liked it. As for a meal I did not.

We felt the lunch buffet at Crystal Palace was very good-best meal we've had at WDW in quite a while. There was a large selection of deli-style salads, meats & cheeses. The lunch also included pizza, mashed potatoes, rotis. chicken, salmon (we didn't try this), and chef-carved flank steak & pork loin. Probably several items I haven't mentioned. They had a kid's station with yummy chicken fingers & super green beans--my wife had a good 1/2 a plate of the beans:upsidedow . There was also a very good variety of desserts in just the right size servings, after such a huge meal. All the characters came to the table for pictures with the two of us. We don't do breakfast buffets, and rarely dinner (don't like to eat that much in the evening). CP lunch is our new favorite buffet at WDW.

CP lunch selection is actually pretty good. I am a vegetarian in a family of meat-eaters, so I often have very few selections; but CP is good about having a good variety of foods with a wide selection. My kids and husband always have way too much there, and it's enough to keep us all going on our day at the Magic Kingdom. Try it... you might like it. Good Luck:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for your replies. My DD and I are also vegetarians, so I was happy to hear that there is a wide selection. We have an ADR there on Dec 13th, and wasn't sure I was going to keep it. I think we'll try it.

We eat dinner or lunch there every visit. The Crystal Palace is one of our favorites. The atmoshpere is quite lovely and the character interaction is fun. We have never even seen sandwiches offered at the buffet. At dinner they just seem to add a meat carving station otherwise the lunch menu was very similiar. There are lots of salads and the best chocolate chip cookies oin WDW. I wouldn't think twice about where to eat. Crystal Palace always.

We had lunch there in March and it was delicious! Lots of food! So much variety! The character interaction was great! The kids loved it!

Glad to read the good reviews. We will be eating lunch there for the first time in less than 2 weeks!

We were @ CP last week for Lunch, there was a hot meat carving station, I think they had beef and pork, there was also salmon, it was all very good. I don't remember lunchmeats, but there WERE lunchmeats at Tusker house lunch.
