I just booked a ADR for my DD's birthday at Crystal Palace in May. She will be 5 and we are going for dinner. Do they do anything special for her?

Not sure what you would expect - give her a cake with candles? Sing?

The usual answer is, they may or may not. The only guaranteed way to have something special on the table, or a birthday cake, is to arrange for it yourself.

If you haven't made a notation on your ADR that the dinner is for a 5 year old's birthday, try that. I would suggest getting her a birthday button at Guest Services. Have her wear it and see if she gets acknowledgements from the characters or staff when they see it.

We we were there for my ds birthday they put decorations on the table and brought a cupcake with a candle and sang happy birthday to him. But note it on the reservation that it is her b-day and remind them where you get there.

Well, I'm not a child, but I celebrated my birthday there this year. It was noted on my ADR and I received a card signed by the characters and a cupcake with a candle. Since it was breakfast and I was already stuffed, the cupcake really didn't get eaten, but it was a nice idea.

I took dd16 this past August. I had noted on the dining reservations it was her 16th birthday. They decorated the table with mickey confetti, a pinwheel and a card signed by the characters. After we had finished, the waitress brought out a cupcake with a candle. Unfortunately she was stuffed and couldn't eat much of the cupcake.

We celebrated my sons 1st birthday there, and they only decorated our table.

I thought they would put some little sprinkles on the tables like I have seen pics but they did not. He did get a card signed by all of the characters for my son..

We had our DD's 10th birthday breakfast there at the end of Oct. they decorated the table, there was a card for her signed by the characters and at the end of the meal the waitress beought out a cupcake and sang happy birthday. We had her birthday dinner at 1900 Park Fare and after we wished that we had, had her dinner at CP!

I'm wondering do they still do some of the things described above for BDays.
This is our first ADR and it is DS's Bday. I noted the Bday on the ADR.

Do they still do the autograph card? the confetti? the cupcake?
