We are going to be having breakfast at the Crystal palace for the first time.

What do we just have to try?

What is your favorite food from their breakfast buffet?

Thanks

The food to me is better than most but nothing very memorable. The character experience and restaurant itself is what draws me to it. You'll love it. Have fun!

I agree with thelionqueen. The food was good but nothing stands out as being wonderful. The breakfast lasagna was unique and probably not for everyone. I thought that the potatoes were very good but other than that it is pretty standard fare.

You must try the breakfast lasagna. I also really liked the breakfast pizza and raspberry coffee cake.

the puffed french toast. drool. LOL Sort of like a donut, but not.
The breakfast lasagna was ok, but some people just love it. Everything was good!

Can I throw in a really trivial question here? Do they have ketchup out at breakfast. (I love ketchup on my eggs and breakfast potatoes. That plus the Pooh gang for DD sounds like heaven to me!)

Yes they do! My boys (including DH) couldn't go a breakfast without it!

CP is my absolute favorite WDW breakfast, and dh places it 2nd to Boma! There are lots and lots of choices, and I've never had anything bad. In fact, the food has always been great. My very favorite breakfast item here is the fried French toast (more like a donut). The muffins and pastries also are very good, but I generally skip these since the other foods I like here are pretty heavy. I'm a southern girl, so biscuits and gravy are always a hit with me. The cheesy potatoes here are fabulous! Definitely try the breakfast lasagna -- in small quantities (very, very rich!!). To balance all the heavy foods, have some of the fresh pineapple. Yummm!! Now my stomach's growling.

Last visit to CP -- October....Looking forward to another over Christmas!!

We've done Chef Mickeys, Restaurantosaurus, and CP for character breakfasts, and CP is our hands-down favorite (in fact, we're just back from our 3rd trip, we ate breakfast at all three places last week, and have decided that we'll only do CP from now on). The overall selection and quality of food is, for us, the very best of the three, and I agree with others who have recommended the puffed french toast -- it is amazing. And, yes, you can get ketsup at breakfast. Also, not everyone realizes that there is a toaster available on the center table, in case you want to toast your bagel!

If you can, book an 8 am seating on a day that is NOT emh for MK. That gives you a great chance to get into the park early for your castle photos, and if you are done before 9, you can line up for fantasyland or tomorrowland for the 9 am rope drop and saunter in to your favorite rides (frontierland and liberty square opened at 9:30 all last week...).
