Anyone know what time the first breakfast starts? I swear I've had breakfast ressies before 8:00 but the DIS info says breakfast from 8:05?

I booked the Crystal Palace for June and 8:05am was the first reservation. You will have enough time to eat and enjoy the park.

I'm pretty sure that the breakfast reservations start at 8:00am at all of the restaurants throughout the park, though there may be exceptions I'm not aware of. That's plenty early for us (late risers) so I've never had to look into it. If you have to do breakfast early, you can always do cereal in the room if there's something else you wanted to do by 8:00am that morning.

Thanks@ I think I'm thinking I've had ressies at a resort breakfast before 8....they must open earlier?

How is the breakfast there? I want to do one fun meal when we are there and it seems nice. Last year we did Chef Mickey's and it was fun but I would like to try something different. Is it better to get the early reservation or wait till later after the parks opens?

We have only ever been able to get 8:05 ressies for breakfast at CP.

It is a really fun breakfast, our kids really enjoy it and the character interaction is good. Plus, for me, the puffed french toast is reason to go all by itself :thumbsup2

I also think 8:05 is the earliest for CP. But it is great to get in that early and walk down Main Street USA with NO CROWDS!! Great picture opportunity!

CP is great for breakfast! Wonderful character interaction, beautiful setting and awesome food...some of the best breakfast items around (for a buffet). Like others have mentioned the Puffed French Toast is delish :cloud9: and there's custom-order omelets and speciality pancakes too!

Also, getting an early ressie like 8:05 is special, like other posters have said it's great to get pics on Main Street with no one around! You should go for it! :thumbsup2

Here's a tip, if you can't get 8:05 (as it goes really quick), try for the next available early time like 8:10 or so on. You may not be done eating right when the park opens, but you still beat the majority of crowds and it's a great photo op to enter the park before everyone else.

Just don't book your breakfast during morning EMH. ;)

Thanks for the reply, I think I will try to get the early one so we can get to the rides early! Also I am planning my days around EMH meaning not to be at any when they have it!! It seems like it would be extra crowded, and we are staying offsite so we won't be able to take advantage of them anyway.

Is it an hour or 30 minutes before the restaurant opens that the WDW transport begins to run. We are staying at AKL, so if we caught the 1st bus of the day would we be able to make it to MK for the earliest sitting at Crystal Palace?

Busses start running at about 6:30 am. I would plan on being at the bus stop at 7:00.

Excellent, thanks. I think we can manage to do that!
